Thus far Caleb Downs is my draft crush, but I really think we need another EDGE. An EDGE room of scourton, princely and a top pick from this year would do wonders for this team moving forward.

Also off ball LB should be considered in round 2

All of that is what it is, but the reality is that his passing mechanics were absolute trash. He literally looked like Uncle Rico out there. That wasn't nerves or not being ready for that level of competition. That was just flat out trash passing fundamentals which was shocking to see from someone with that last name.

Igbinosun a top 10 pick??? That dude got absolutely ROASTED last year and when he wasn't getting burned badly he was getting flagged. Unless he's improved dramatically he's not an NFL player.

Think you read that wrong , I was referring to Downs being held by some as a top 10 talent

Oh yeah, Downs absolutely looks like an elite prospect. Igbinosun looks like a guy who has all the measurables but just can't play football. He needs to be worlds better than he was last year if he's going to last in the NFL.

Consider this... UNC's brain trust fully scouted Gio Lopez, a guy who threw for barely over 2500 yards last year and rushed for a little over 500 yards against the elite competition of South Alabama, they watched that and decided yeah, let's pay this guy $2 million dollars... oh wee motherfugin mayne

Holy poo, Oregon beat Oklahoma State 69-3? That's crazy. I mean, Oklahoma State isn't exactly a powerhouse but I mean they've put some good teams on the field over the years. 69-3 is crazy

3-9 last year, 0-9 in conference.

They're a terrible football team.

63rd ranked recruiting class last year too.

Oregon likely had a little bulletin board material from Gundy’s comment about Oregon’s roster expenses. I’m sure Lanning was trying to send a message with that one.

    • I'm only in favor of this if they make it like cigarettes.  Shouldn't be plastered all over the presentation of the game.
    • Yes but this is under the assumption that most of the players are susceptible to this sort of coercing from those type of elements. I think those actual cases are rare. Plus the sportsbooks are more motivated than most to stamp it out because it loses them money. It's just a natural side effect of having gambling at all. IMO, better for it to be legal. Now, I do find it insanely hypocritical(but also typical) that all these sports leagues that once turned their noses up and were very high and mighty about sports gambling are so openly supporting it now that the megabucks are rolling in.
    • Well I should also say another caveat is positional value. You have to be careful violating that. For the scenarios you are describing, those are also things that free agency is for. Free agency should always set up the draft. Improve the roster and then go shopping for things to potentially take your roster up a notch.  Lastly, we are in scenario 2. Our roster is still not good and we have holes at most position groups. We are actually in the "BPA All Day" range.
