Man, Steve Smith is really trying to sugarcoat, but he knows that even has limits

He's basically like yeah I'm not gonna say this is a terrible team, because we're on TV right now.  But after this game I can tell you behind closed doors a lot of things will be said.

Lol...im switching up arguments when I'm just stating what you said early this week. Don't look to far into pre season right? Walker hasn't played a real game like any other rookie so we shouldn't be looking too much into things and hype. I mean.. If he was lighting it up right now it would be against second and third stringers correct? This is your logic you have already landed. Im just repeating it.

I said the final score of the preseason. Dude, I get it. You didn't want to draft T-Mac and you really wanted a pass rusher.

I'm just saying that your odds of finding a true impact pass rusher at #9 in this year's draft was slim to none. Hell, I wanted Jalon Walker too. But I'm not gonna crash out over and over about it. I said before the draft that I wasn't I wasn't in love with any particular prospect but if it was my call I'd draft Walker, but I understand it if T-Mac is the pick.

Yeah. I didn't want to say it, but if your team is putting out this kind of effort, even in a preseason game, you need a coach on the sidelines chewing out someone and letting them know their careers are literally on the line here. If you are trying to make it on one of the worst teams in the NFL over the last five years and you can't show out, then you aren't going to get chances elsewhere.

Mr. Friendly-friendly might not be the answer here.

Not looking promising. I'll wait to see if we magically flip the switch in the regular season but we've been hoping for that for years now. My hope is gone.

Man, they are talking bout  LEAVE OUR MARK... and its looking like a turd  streak in a toilet bowl... 13 points in 8 quarters. Preseason or not, this is not acceptable. The 1st unit better not drink the Kool Aid and play with a chip this season.

    • Number 9  Carolina Panthers  Bryce Young, the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, produced career highs in completion percentage (63.6%), passing yards per game (188.2) and passing touchdowns (23) in 2025. However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down. He threw for the third-fewest passing yards by a quarterback to make the playoffs in the last 20 seasons, per CBS Sports Research.  FEWEST PASSING YARDS BY QB TO REACH PLAYOFFS, LAST 20 SEASONS (MIN. 16 STARTS) PASSING YARDS PLAYOFF WINS 2012 Christian Ponder (MIN) 2,935 0 2008 Joe Flacco (BAL) 2,971 2 2025 Bryce Young (CAR) 3,011 0 2006 Steve McNair (BAL) 3,050 0 2019 Josh Allen (BUF) 3,089 0 Young did deliver some high highs, like when he threw for a franchise-record 448 yards passing in a Week 11 overtime win at the Atlanta Falcons and when he went toe-to-toe with Stafford in the playoffs in a 34-31 defeat.  Kenny Pickett couldn't win the Cleveland Browns' quarterback competition a year ago, and Will Grier is a career backup. • This is why we need the Bank of America Stadium Ballroom.
    • That thread has all the huddle legends either posting in it or mentioned in it. I remember everyone of those folks and I truly miss seeing them post here. This place was so much better with them here.
