BREAKiNG NEWS: Panthers interested in trading for Trey Hendrickson

Remember that Khalil Mack was traded for 2 firsts and some change at the end of his rookie deal to the Bears.

The Bears ultimately won the trade as Mack was a continuous PB/AP player and the Raiders squandered all the draft capital on players worth far less.

It's dumb to turn down that kind of haul, but it's definitely not hard to completely squander.

And Burns wasn’t Parsons. Shows again how dumb we were.

Not even close!!! BURNS was a one trick pony who had a big game or two a year in the sack collum and was invinsible the rest of the time....

Heck hes gonna be the Giants fourth best rusher this year.

The Bears may have won the trade, but neither team has much to show for it.

I think Parsons is great, but unless we are one player away from being a SB contender, i avoid that deal like the plague.

Yeah everybody was so concerned about who would win the trade years down the line.  But what if nobody does, and the only people who remember the trade are Panthers fans, Bears fans, and NFL trivia buffs?  That's most trades.

    • Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.
    • Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays. Plus there's this-  https://x.com/PFF_College/status/2018385471068332410?lang=en     I hope he's ready, cause Id like to see him starting and doing his thang with dbrown, nic, and Phillips.
    • I mean there is relevance to that. But I think much of it has to do with the fact that he is clearly likeable. But does that translate to a coach taking his position to the next level like those that have had staying power for many years like Spoelstra? And not for nothing but does how much someone is liked even matter? Across leagues with the Panthers Ron Rivera and Marty Hurney were universally well liked by players. Dave Canales is very well liked. I say you are what your record says. And the record says you got your ass handed to you by a fellow expansion team in the Magic in a game that was over at halftime and that same team went toe to toe with our nemesis who has been handing us L's for over a year now. And if Bam doesn't get his leg swept by LaMelo do we even get past the Heat? Again. It just all boils down to personal standards. I think newer and younger fans will love this. I just want to actually win a real playoff game fam 🤷‍♂️
