Someone was reporting some cap stuff too.  Vikings need to either create some or wanted us eat more (which in theory would better the pick)

If this happens, and if this team is serious about featuring Ja'Tavion more, target share becomes interesting after McMillan.

The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reports “financial hurdles remain before any potential Adam Thielen-Vikings reunion can occur.”

Russini points out that in March, the Panthers bumped up Thielen’s 2025 salary. The 35-year-old receiver comes with a cap hit just north of $10.108 million this season, per Over the Cap, and the Vikings have already been working to increase their cap flexibility with the trade of Harrison Phillips earlier in the week. Thielen would be a natural fit in the Vikings’ offense if a trade is able to get done, but there’s still plenty to work out here.

Yeah it's why it hasn't been announced already from what I've seen. Panthers are asking for a fourth if they eat anything but the Vikings want to give up a 5th and 6th.

They shouldn't. Coker is a legit #2 WR and should get those targets.

Oh I imagine WR2 is still #2 in targets, just saying on a game to game basis, could be interesting depending on the matchup

I know everyone is excited about the up and coming WR since they made noise in the offseason, but Thielen is our only proven productive WR over the last two seasons. I wouldn’t trade him
