I think @CRA had gray going back to Dallas. That guy is legit great and can play in defense. In fact he's only one or two levels below Parsons......Id rather pay gray and not pay parson 200 million.

Rashan Gary?  Yeah he is awesome if that’s true,  and not a bad deal for the Boys

Contracts like this make me wish there were caps on what players could get paid. Too many times we see players get big contracts then they don’t live up to it and it handicaps the team. We need more ways to benefit the teams.

in the end it’s the fans who end up suffering because your team gets stuck with an injured player and can’t sign new ones or resign the good players you have.

Panthers may win the SB if that was true.

Cap is 100% the best solution. There would not be 32 teams if not for the cap and shared revenue, there would sonn only be around 8 teams and shortly after zero. You must have other teams to play against, public dumb as they can be, would grow tired of watch the same teams play each other.....

Just be glad isn't isn't baseball. At least football has a salary cap

Front offices should be allowed to make stupid moves.  It's what makes it interesting.  You gotta pay for your mistakes in this league.

    • Another thread where the Huddle melts down over a Bryce comment.  "Conversations" and "Bryce Young has been signed to a new long-term contract" are still far away from being the gospel.  For a fanbase that has watched two top-3 drafted QBs come here, and us move on, only to see them elevate their play elsewhere, I find it comical. Bryce is flawed but this org is damned if you do and damned if you don't with BY9.  Why would our GM and HC say anything other than supportive about their QB1. Yes, he's extended, but I truly do not think if he goes out and has a repeat of the previous seasons, that he is here beyond 2027. They're giving him every opportunity and surrounding him with a ridiculous amount of assets on both sides of the ball. If he continues to pitch 110 yd/ game and cough up the ball while everyone else is busting their ass, no way Dan keeps him beyond the extension.
    • Ooof, I was not a Proctor fan. I agree w/ a lot of smarter folks than me that he's more of a guard and think his weight fluctuation is going to be something to navigate. I liked Lomu a lot, but figured there would be more talented guys there at 19. I also wasn't big on bringing in a TE via the draft. If it's not a vet (Njoku) or a trade for Mayer or Kmet, I'd just as soon see what the youngsters have. No need cluttering the room with more of the same.
    • Sam Darnold & Bryce Young are two very different Qbs ..just saying the last 25 years approximately 2/3 of ALL  first round Qb's  in the NFL were or are bust.so for everyone who makes it like a Sam Darnold you have two that don't make it or are a bust
