Memphis and KC just don't do it for me. I'll take Memphis over KC but for me NC for pork, Texas for everything else.

I actually like NC and SC BBQ.  If you didn't grow up eating SC BBQ I can understand it being a variety that is hard to adopt later on.

BBQ is like college rivalries. Where you grew up determines your loyalty.

I grew up eating Lexington style which Ive come to find is the worst of all.

You got to put some cheese on it to make it taste like something

Vinegar based with classic pulled pork is excellent.

Mustard sauce isn't for everyone for sure. I can understand why some want no parts of it. But it really depends on the meat you are pairing it with and what kind someone is trying. They are by no means all created equal. There's one brand in particular that I like but now you have to order direct from them and it's fairly pricey.
