Baker has an NFL arm. That's the key difference. We had a walk in TD that turned into a FG because Bryce simply couldn't put the ball far enough down the field. We've seen that happen repeatedly.

BY did not look good in preseason either. Really, this is not a surprise to see him start like this.

He should have run on that play....Let's not make it a bigger deal than it is.  XL got out muscled by a much smaller guy on his route.  Maybe if we played our starters a legitimate amount during the preseason we wouldn't start out so cold.

His Renfrow miss was just a miss because he can’t get mustard on a ball with his limited arm drifting  back

Pick was just Bryce being dumb.  Bad throw, lane open to run 

that’s his 3 incompletions.  That’s all on Bryce.  Not covered WRs.

That's honestly what's most frustrating. Everyone being honest with themselves knew Bryce was significantly physically limited at the NFL level. I mean, historically so. But I did not anticipate him simply failing to see waiting defenders sitting on crossing routes and throwing it right to them instead of simply jogging for the 1st down. If he had elite talent you're thinking okay, maybe he can develop beyond that but he doesn't. What he was supposed to have was elite recognition, awareness, and decision making and I simply haven't seen any of it.

It will make everyones life much less stressful when they realize Bryce aint it and Evero will be fired midseason. This year is yet another unwatchable year and there are better things to do on Sundays than watch this pile of crap team.
