I think it was relatively well placed, Scot, but Tet still had to try to one-hand it.

but my point remains.  With Bryce we have to rely on one handed catches and hoping they’ll be called for penalties to convert drives to positive outcomes.  It’s because we can’t and don’t execute consistently on the routine.  We need extraordinary results and penalties to do what functional offenses do by being consistently good.

Young has had some pretty good plays this game, a few bad ones, a couple of bad calls and one absolute WTF moment on that end sone throw.

Definitely not a franchise performance but not necessarily an awful one given some factors.

Still a load of football to play this season. As yet I'm not convinced either way.

I've been saying this for years. I thought he was drafted too high in 2020 and hated the selection. I don't trust our front office to pick the right guy, but if someone offered me a #1 draft pick for him I'd consider it if I were GM. Seriously, are we really that much worse without him?

I never liked the pick and he gets loved by many but he never make big plays ever . People hated burns when D brown goes ghost so much more . I’m okay with not many sacks but he don’t get tackles for lost either . He getting a 100 million cause he can pancake a guard occasionally. He’s a jag . He’s not even better than KK Short

That team was more talented. We barely lost to both #1 seeds and we started 2021 3-0 with people talking playoffs. We fell apart but that team had better players and depth. We traded Moore, CMC and Burns for basically nothing.

And now the internal media spends 80% of their time talking about the 2015 Team while leaving out Cam lol. That can't be your identity

    • Extrapolate that with every QB for that matter. I guarantee you there's quite a bit of missed opportunities and yards left on the field for everyone. Many NFL QBs deal with WRs not putting in A+ effort, subpar o-line play and other deficiencies. The great ones are able to rise above these issues and create opportunities for plays. Guys like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes can both play in and out of structure, as well as find ways to get yards when things break down and mask mistakes by throwing guys open, creating opportunities from nothing, etc. Bryce Young has only shown he's able to make things happen when the rest of the team picks up his slack. Very rarely does he create those opportunities himself. When this is a consistent pattern year after year with Bryce where he shows up lackluster, it's a concern. This is year three and he should be elevating the team as a first overall pick this franchise traded up for.  He was far from elevating anyone against JAX. In fact, he needed others to elevate and create for him. Excuses may be fine for a rookie, but this is year three for the first overall pick. Not looking good so far.
    • I think the worst issue is coaching. Countless bad snaps, XL not getting his feet in or trying on runs plays, our centre being down field when he didn't need to be. All seem to be from poor coaching for me. I believe Canales is to soft to rip the players a new one when the fug up. Plus I honestly believe that Canales is slow getting his plays in giving Bryce less time to diagnose and adjust to the defence. Don't worry I could of head butted Bryce for that fumble and the 4th down throw aways but the other plays are explainable to me
    • No We have been making excuses for him for 3 years, and we have gave him a hundred chances  Bryce is a bust, and we need to cut him now and stop wasting everyone's time
