Bryce Young Is Terrible

Bryce lives in some realm where the only way he plays well is when he’s not in his head thinking of his own limitations and the offense isn’t being challenged on a talent level. It sucks because I see what the team is trying to do but it’s just not realistic to require the team to be perfect for him to display competence.

It's called padding stats against soft zone in late game situations trailing by multiple scores. The D isn't trying to stifle you anymore, they're just trying to avoid giving up big plays.

And it honestly should've been 120ish yards with 4 turnovers including a pick six without the bailout flag.

I agree, that was an UGLY underhanded lob pick-6 by Bryce that fortunately got called back.  Credit to Hubbard for the broken tackle on the TD, which was nothing more than a simple swing pass from Bryce.

Carolina did the right thing last year moving on from Bryce last season after 2 games.  The right move was to then trade him.  He never sees the field again.    They fugged that up and set this debacle up

You're not wrong. Hindsight being 20/20 they should've cut the cord then.

That is a legit concern.  I still don't think you can bench him after one game.

Everyone is overreacting right now.

For the record, I wanted Stroud.  I started watching film with him, and was so convinced he was the pick with Reich at the helm that I didn't even evaluate anyone else.  I felt like I was going crazy as the draft approached and it seemed like Young could possibly be the pick.

He's the guy now, though.

We benched him after two games last year. If he looks like that again next week you gotta do it again. Probably at halftime.

Dipper is big analytics guy and he blew the easiest analytic stat of all time. No 5'10" 185lb qb has ever made it in the history of the NFL...This all started in a room with Dipper and no one telling him no....his 7 years of ownership has done nothing but champion losing and the worst stretch in Panther history.

Yep. Tepper always makes the wrong decision. It blows my mind how dumb and incompetent rich people have become.

I know this is an unpopular opinion right now, but this wasn't all on Bryce.  We are very predictable, and there were few players today that I wouldn't place blame on.

Did Bryce look good?  No.

He's still the guy going forward for right now and everyone needs to calm down.  We knew this was a possibility.  He either figures it out and we are good, or he doesn't and we draft his replacement.

Nothing as changed about this equation, and we still don't know the answer to the question at this point.

Nothing has changed

Ain't that the truth

Why was Brady not the starting LT

why was nick scott on the field

why was Evero not let go last year   I have never ever seen a pro defense so open in the middle  ever

corbett, one more week, and he can go back to backup guard and put Mayes in

we have a cheer leader as a head coach   Not working

we have a GMwho let Thielen walk because hr ‘believed in his young receivers’ so he ‘did Thielen a solid’

we have a qb that doesn’t belong in the nfl with his limitations and the playbook showed it

the  2024 oline coach we had is in Jacksonville right …whoever The oline coach is this year….bad

one thing about the Panthers, they show you who they are first game    It ain’t pretty

I would rather him get more time to solidify his trash crown.  We have seen plenty of QBs leave here and miraculously get better.  I want no questions.

What do you do right now if you bench him?  Run Dalton?  You think he is going to make it 15 games?  I don't want mediocre again.  I'd rather suffer the stank and reset next year at QB.

And then move on permanently. Next draft for QB #1.

I’m finding it very hard to watch a Panther game right now. It’s just not worth the time invested on Sundays to watch them suck it up week after week. We need a change and it starts with the owner. Until then we are going to mediocre forever
