I wonder how ppl would feel if the pick six stood?

It would be just like that awful pass he threw into blanket coverage that got picked off against the Texans in preseason. But because it was a free play it was fine. The fact he even threw that in the first start of his regular season is very concerning at the least. His decision making has not improved. He's supposed to be a super processor.

DC has a chance to make a point. Bench XL and start someone else, start Ransom at S, Mays at C etc. That sends the string signal that last week was unacceptable. He won’t, but that is the right move.

And Dalton at QB?

Did you see the Hopkins catch? And he’s washed. Not a WR on the team can make that catch. Shows up as a TD for Lamar. I was at the game bro. He played that game with his hands tied.

Bryce plays the game like he's wearing a blindfold.

Shout outs to the former Huddler's all-22 being quoted in the article! idr his name on the Huddle, but Taco from Pantherscord/Twitter knows ball.

The Jags knew everything Canales was going to do. Canales looked lost and as confused as his qb and team. It was an embarrassment of a showing for the entire team. Canales had no answers for anything. He can't even control his own DC.

I'm fine with explaining away a few bad plays from a player because the opposing team makes a good play / playcall. Or even saying the real failure on a given play was not the QB but the wrong route etc. But man, it's Bryce's third year and I expected better than this.  Just tired of the inconsistency within (and between) games. Everything has to be perfect for him to play consistently well.

I was at the game also and I saw things much differently. What I saw was a Smurf trying to play NFL QB and getting upset when he realized he couldn’t. His frustration permeated the entire team.
We will never know what we have in the other areas of this team as long as BY is the QB.

Time to move on….NOW!

For who? I’m all for it but there’s no depth. Jewel retiring screwed us

And Jewell was a low to mid-tier starter at best. I have no comprehension f how we spend the offseason trying to "fix" our run D without doing more at ILB, even if Jewell had stuck around.

Oh good lord, it's Cover 1 Robber - no need to make it sound like anything revolutionary. Legette was drifting deep rather than coming straight across (bad route running by him), and the safety was already driving up when Bryce chose to throw the ball. To the Jags credit this is exactly the type of play you call robber against (see comments about them reading Canales like a book) but between the predictable call and the crappy execution by both XL and Bryce this was as much on Carolina as it was Jacksonville making a great play.

That INT was all on Bryce. He was looking right at the safety and knew X was too deep on his route. And still threw it when he could have trotted the 2 yards needed to the 1st down. It was the same on the 4th and 1 play in the end zone. He could have gotten the 1st down himself but chose to airmail it out of bounds. He sh*t the bed plain and simple. But he was the only person having a bad day Sunday.
