You paid attention to that roster down there at all?

Did that logic work for Howell/Winston when they were starting? How about Josh Rosen? JaMarcus Russell?

I guess starting in the NFL is now the litmus test for being a good NFL starter? All hail HOF QB, PJ Walker!

Just pointing out how ridiculous you sounded making that sorry, of course being an NFL starter isn't end all be all. Glad you made a mountain out of a mole hill.

I mean, to be fair you did act like the fact he's starting on a horrible team means he's automatically better. God knows there's plenty of backups around the league better than some of the guys we're trotting out there as starters. Starting just means that you're perceived to be the best option on that roster at the moment. Nothing more, nothing less.

I am pretty sure I am not the one sounding ridiculous lauding a guy that looks like a poor man's Kyle Allen. But, carry on.

How about just lay back and let it happen? No Matt Rhule BS.

I am tired of panicked dum-dum roster moves for a bad team. The team is bad, whether we have Bryce or not.

Its bad but we're only 2 games in. Just accepting it and doing nothing sends a worse message IMO. We should make a move for a QB that we could at minimum have as legit camp competition next year so we can move on from Dalton.

You guys realize they shut down XL at practice yesterday with a "hamstring" injury,  right?

I didn’t see that. Wow. Of course, the hamstring thing smells like raccoon road kill.
I expected something g to happen when Coker got healthy, just because it will be so thin with no Legette, no Coker, no AT.

The time to do that has passed. It was during the offseason and the draft.

I mean....the message was sent years ago when this roster was destroyed and subsequently never went anywhere.

However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down.
