You can point fingers are whatever you want, but calling a run on 3rd and 15 is not the move in my opinion no matter who your QB is.  You don't just give up.

If you’ve watched the entire game you realize that everything over 10 yards has either been high, behind the receiver or both.  If you’ve watched are denying the fact that the play calling is limited due to a limited QB you are not being fair to yourself or the coach

No one else is coming here to coach under this fuging idiot owner.

and honestly, yeah, running the ball on 3rd sucks, but they’re doing it because they know Bryce can’t do what is required to efficiently pass on 3rd down.  Have you questioned, is it possible, Bryce is still out there because of a directive from ownership?  Because why WOULDNT he have already pulled him with his job riding on the line?  Every fuging drive that half, Bryce killed it.  Any coach with two eyes sees it.  And every drive, iirc, crossed midfield.  Bryce’s mistakes once we crossed midfield ended the drives.  So play calling wasn’t the issue.  And I don’t really feel strongly one way or another about Canales, but again, play calling wasn’t the issue.  Calling runs are third down and while we are down 22 points is because they know Bryce will make it worse and/or they’re being forced to play him and are making a statement.

Canales is an offensive coordinator and WR coach. He is not HC material!!!

to add to this: he was an OC for one season and the team he left actually got better once he did

Also I'm pretty sure we were his only HC interview

    • You'd think otherwise if you were trying to keep your job. Now maybe Canales has assurance he's safe. I'd find that hard to believe but maybe. I don't know how he'll avoid losing the locker room though if he keeps trotting out this guy who completely hamstrings our offense.
    • I agree. In the end Stroud could reach the potential he flashed in his rookie season or he could just end up being mid. Who knows who cares at this point. The folks dunking on him are just fools carrying the water of the Tepper's no matter how loud they get or how many posts they poo. We should have never traded up to begin with. The cost was too great. We should have built the roster patiently and intelligently. And the source of these woes is 100% without question whatsoever our ownership.
    • Bryce could probably be serviceable with an entire slate of All-Pros around him and an offensive mind like Andy Reid running the show but you don't draft QBs #1 overall who have to be carried and you certainly don't trade a king's ransom for them because when you do that you're counting on that guy helping to carry you through some of the roster holes that move is inevitably going to create. That's what nine of these people acknowledge. Yeah, our roster isn't great but a big part of that is all the roster capital we had to give up to trade up to draft this guy.
