Carolina has no identity, no attitude and certainly no resilience.  This all starts at the most important position in pro sports, the Quarterback.  Week after week, sound bite after sound bite, this will be the tale until BY9 is gone.

Dart, for the Giants, has that swag and confidence that a NFL QB needs

he is also not tentative

Bryce, forget about it

Watching him throw away balls or into the dirt in tight situations or on 4th down, come on man.

total chicken poo. Either he can’t do it or he can’t see it .  Time to move on.

honestly, his early mistakes might have completely paralyzed him.  hes so afraid of making mistakes that he makes worse mistakes, at that point though, hes mentally broken and he doesnt have the physical tools to pull him out of that hole.  Its like a pitcher with the yips, once it hits, they question everything and they never are the same and only the ones with stuff so dominating (100mph fastballs, wipeout sliders, devastating curveballs) overcome it.

I have no problem with them saying they had a great week of practice.  I believe them.

i literally read this earlier:

It’s simple.  And Jaycee is alluding to it.  The play calls were working, but the Pats took off on us with Bryce missing wide open passes at least 3 drives in a row, starting with the throw off the Pats’ players facemask.  It also became abundantly clear that the staff doesn’t trust BY at all.  Once he missed the open throws, they usually tried to run with minimal success, then tried to pass again which resulted in failure.  The plays were there to be made.  The guy pulling the trigger can’t make them.  That’s why the drives stalled.  Then, as the blueprint has played out with Bryce since he became starter, the snowball starts rolling and eats up all the little pieces in its path along the way.  The offense can’t sustain drives, the other team picks up momentum, the defensive morale goes down the shitter and they start giving up everything, etc.  The offense kills every fuging semblance of confidence and momentum every week.

These games look wildly different if we had any kind of ability to sustain drives and score TDs on offense.  It’s like being a pitcher with no run support…  you can keep pitching lights out, but when you don’t get any support, you start to crack.  That’s what happens to the rest of our team every fuging Sunday.  The one guy that the entire team depends on is the worst player on the field more often than not, and it results in the rest of our team bearing the responsibility of it.

And all of this goes back to who made the decision to go into the season without a real backup plan when this inevitably went south?

Know what I’m tired of hearing? “We’re gonna watch the tape and fix our mistakes.” I think they play more ping pong than they watch tape.

That’s gotta be some horrendous tape to sit through.

I didn't watch or listen to any of the post yesterday, was too disgusted, but I saw this today and I noticed something.

I noticed 2 things.  First, Just something that personally bothers me is Im so fugging tired of hearing people in our Locker room say "we had a good week of practice"...

Seriously, We hear it from Jaycee, Bryce, DB and Chuba, and while I love em and love their effort, They have NEVER been part of a winning team in the NFL.  None of them know what a REAL good week of practice looks like.  Sure you can have some weeks where things go wrong and even a good week of practice helps, but when its EVERY week, then well...maybe something isnt being done during the week.

The second thing I noticed was an omission in his statement.

Someone was missing in that list.  Ya know TEAM LEADERS.  Lets see, Captains for the year are DB, JJ Jansen and theres some other guy...I dunno WHO it could be....

Honestly though, when your QB, your THIRD YEAR QB, and THIRD TIME team captain QB is NOT a team leader...holy poo youve got massive problems.

In all fairness, their good weeks of practice are getting to the strip club early enough for happy hour and enjoying discounted lap dances...

Im pretty sure the top of the front office felt the end of last season meant Bryce had arrived.  I wish we'd picked up a younger, competent backup option...

A lot of our problems (other than Bryce) is that nobody on our team has really won at a consistent level before. Like, name one other than Sam Martin that was a consistent starter for a winning team.

Bobby Brown (maybe) but he doesn’t even start for us, Robert Hunt? Like one year with Miami when they were decent. Turk Wharton?

We technically have a SB winning starter but he’s our worst defensive player lol

    • Dude, I think I might be having Jarvy withdrawals... I ripped the sleeves off of all of my t-shirts in my sleep last night. Every bite of my Alpha-Bita cereal spelled Seth, this morning. And, I took 7 naps before lunch. I'm losing it guys! Jarvy's Jaunty Band of Jaggoffs are getting more play than he is... smh Team Canada doesn't treasure Jarvis the way he deserves. He should take his band down to Liechtenstein, get a bag of passports, and start his own Olympic team! The raw animal magnetism of Jarvilicious will bring in a handful of NHLers on its own. And, since the IOC believes in collective punishment, he could have his pick of the rookies. Then, just fill out the rest of the roster with the maple blooded great white northerners who couldn't make the top squad. Can't trust this assembled awesomery to just any old Liechtensteinien with a clipboard and a whistle. Gotta bring in a legend worthy of this gold medal gambit. A hockey HOFer with the balls to buck the system and the aura to match our maverick. Huere geil, Vaduz!!! 2030 Gold Medal guaranteed!
    • Tennessee isn't trading a QB on a 2nd round contract that has starting experience.  That's bad business.
    • OT is the top priority as it is both an immediate and future need.  I wouldn't be past trading up slightly to get the guy we want.  You need that rookie contract right now.  Icky is a dead 17.5 million for the season.  Morton is 20+ mil for the season, Hunt is 20+ mil for the season.  There needs to be forward thinking regarding the future.   Caleb Lomu is a left Tackle, he's a solid prospect, he may be the best pick for us now and in the future.  I would seriously consider cutting Hunt after 2026, and let Lomu and Icky fight for the LT job, loser moves inside.  Icky's future may be at guard after this injury anyway.  If Damien Lewis keeps up his level of play he will need to be paid sooner rather than later.  Yosh and BC can be our top two depth OL at an affordable price.  You will need to look at OT again in 2027. Getting an EDGE for the sake of getting an EDGE outside of the top 10 is pretty risky.  I wouldn't be against eyeing someone like Cashius Howell, Derrick Moore, or TJ Parker in the 2nd (even if we trade a future pick to move up) or DDS in the third. I'd love to see us try to sign both Leo Chenal and Matt Millano in FA.   Chenal for the blitzing element we are missing from our LB corps and Millano for his elite coverage.  They could both work in tandem.  Remember, our FO has deep ties to both KC and Buffalo. I love thinking about the draft, but until Free Agency hits, we are clueless.  Looking at the strength of FA and the draft, OL is priority #1, LB #2, and EDGE #3.  We know what happens to Bryce when protection falls apart.
