If this defense shows up the rest of the year I’m not expecting playoffs but will be fun to watch games. Coker, Sanders,  and Hubbard hopefully will be back soon.  Just hope next week isn’t a home game for the Cowboys and CeeDee has a sore ankle still.

The catch by Horn to keep the last drive alive was a good catch. I hope he stays active. This years draft class showed up today. I know this was not a top ranked team, but we needed it.

A QB passing for less that 200 yards, but two TDs? A running back getting 200+ yards himself? If that gets a win, I'll take it every time.

More than anything, coming back from 17 down on a day that I honestly thought this was the straw that broke the camel's back, was eye-opening. They showed a level of grit that I haven't seen here in years. Many years.

Do it again next week and I might start really believing something is happening here.

It was a good day for the team.
I say this, as a non fan of relentless cheerleading style leadership:

I looked at the video of postgame locker room and you can’t tell me those players aren’t bought in. It didn’t look fake to me.

We're running out of home games versus trash opponents.  I said after week 2 we got a stretch of 3 winnable games and the team better take advantage of it because it's going to be a long season after week 5.  To their credit, they won 2 of 3.  That being said, we realistically only match those wins the rest of the season now we hit the meat of the schedule.  The Saints are getting better and sweeping them might not be as easy as it once looked.   We still probably split the Saints and shock another team.  That's all I'm seeing as far as wins.

Yeah we’re going to have to sweep Saints for sure in order to get to 7 wins

Must wins are Jets, Saints x2 then we’ll have to surprise someone like Dallas, Tampa at home maybe? Maybe we go win in Atlanta again but I doubt it

The Jets are also probably looking at the game against us as their one real shot at not going 0-17 so there’s that

    • Any idea what happened to him at LSU? im reading that he was considered a 1st round pick in 2023, had an off 2024 season with only 4 sacks but was also on a horrible FSU team then went to LSU where he was supposed to be on an aggressive defense that should have given him a lot of sacks but he only ended up with one….   was he injured? Did the top SEC competition expose him? What happened? Cause this guy was considered a top prospect .
    • Sometimes its fun to read the threads/posts.  The panthers could literally hire a groundskeeper and we'd have a thread "improving the field for no other reason to prop up Bryce Young".  Apparently no move is ever done to actually make the team better.  All a conspiracy to just focus on Bryce Young. Or suddenly daydreaming and reminiscing about Sam Darnold when he was hated more than Bryce Young.  Its really fun to do a message board search about Darnold during that time period.   Or thinking there is just a tree that grows QB, and you can just easily go up and pluck one.
    • Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
