You do realize I was complimenting them on their play when the game was on the line don't you.

But even with their best receiver out, their receivers were running free thru the secondary for three quarters.  And we were not getting any pressure at all.

Without reading the replies, I am going to contribute that the offense kept them off the field a lot better than their normal performance. 
They other thing is, they need time together and should be, hopefully, starting to get on the same page

I will also say the LB play has improved greatly over the last two weeks surprisingly.

at least give our corners some safety or linebacker help but evero had mike Jackson getting cooked on an island all game long

Mostly D Brown, but also some key FA signings. A number of us said it last year, that horrid defense was an anomaly because Brown went out. Everything starts in the trenches.  Our talent and coaching/scheme was poor, but not historic poor.
