I will say, we don't have any world beaters but a very complimentary TE room.

I've been of the impression Ian Thomas severely skewed how people thought of guys that have been respectable in their time here.

For context- 3 of Tremble's first 4 touches in the NFL were TDs.  The 1 remaining of 4 was a chunk play.  10 TDs in 4 years as our TE2 is not bad, especially considering the coaching and personnel over that time.  And he's made impact plays when called upon.  I have never got the hate on him outside of sharing a room with Ian.  He never elevated to his high round 3 pick, but he's been good enough for how we've used him.

JT looked solid at the end of last year but he's really just a receiving type.  But he showed up in that final ATL win.  I don't know what to think of him yet but he's an alright option to have even if he doesn't turn out to be a top receiving TE.

Mitch can play all 3 TE spots though.  He's of the LaPorta and Kraft mold which I love.

Sanders more like a Musgrave, Tremble more like a B Strange.  We'll see but I'm hopeful.  Evans is the type that could free up a roster spot long term and add some disguise-ability to our offense if he can become our TE1.

I wouldn't mind a te room of LaPorta,  Musgrave and b strange

I like this guy.  Caught him doing more nice things in 12-personnel. Just keeps showing up.

Passes the eye test early which historically, rookie TEs don't do...

My take on him is this. If you need him to block, he's able and willing. If you need him to catch a pass for a 1st down, he's able and willing. Seems like the perfect solider. You see the effort too. Many have helped Rico go video game- XL, Mays, BC, IckY, Lewis, Tmac, Temble and Evans has been blocking his arse off too.

Its vastly overlooked in this era of highlights and pay me TDs clips. Willingness and effort in the run game. I don't think its not by design, that nearly all of the last two draft class- If they need to block, you will get their best effort. Most of these current WRs/TEs want nothing to do with blocking......Horn, XL, Evans, and even sanders(he improved before the injury) are going shoot their hands and lose slowly......aka NFL blocking.

Think if he's going to get better???!?!?!? !!!!

    • It will be really interesting to see how both sides handle this. I'm sure the team would love to get him signed to a 4 year deal based on his output so far and some potential factored in, i.e. something like a 4 year $30 million contract.  But I could see his agent telling him the best path is to take the one year offer, put up a big year next year and then really cash in. The team also has to keep in mind T-Mac's 2nd contract, which likely will happen after the 2027 season assuming he keeps improving as expected.  Even if we could get him on a budget 4 year deal for what he could become, the problem then becomes when he wants to re-negotiate in 2 years during the same summer we will extend T-Mac, and you don't want to spend that much on WRs in one offseason, just see the Bengals this last year. Taking everything into consideration, I'm thinking the 1 year deal and then getting him to sign a 4-5 year deal after hopefully say a 800ish yard season next year might be best for our cap situation and separate his and T-Mac's negotiation periods.
    • And yet jax made it no further than we did, and its very possible the Pats don't either. I think it speaks more to the overall down year for the nfl as far as having great/dominant teams, every team this year has fatal flaws that can be exploited
    • Ehhh I agree the nfc is stronger this year but their really werent any truly dominant teams this year everyone is flawed, I think the narrative for the NFL this year will to try ahd force a Josh Allen SB win
