But can you remember Jeremy Bridges

I remember him getting arrested. Same year that Dwayne the Lame Jarrett was busted for DWI, I think. Also same season we had Otah who had a promising rookie season before it all fell apart.

It's a shame we missed out on Milton Williams he of taken this defense to another level. Look at what hes done in NE

I honestly thought they would severely regret that contract. Has definitely been worth the money so far.

I was all for giving Chubba the opportunity to regain his starting position, after all we gave him a nice contract. However, the difference in our offense with Rico compared to Hubbard was like comparing night and day.

Rico runs with a purpose of not losing yards, EVER.

It's nice to have two good running backs but loyalty to a paycheck compared to output is absolutely stupid. Canales has to face the reality that Rico is a better back and should be treated that way.  To the point where I want us to lock him up for several years.  Maybe next year if Brooks comes along, we can trade Hubbard at the trade deadline next year.

Yeah, I have to admit that Rico appears to have some pop that Chuba just doesn't have. I wouldn't have said that before yesterday though. And, yes, I've been a Chuba fan, but I also raised an eye when we gave him that contract. Now we're stuck with some difficult decisions.

Snap Counts

Take a look at the snap counts and playtime percentage for the Panthers in Week 7 of the regular season against the Jets.

Player Offensive Snaps Special Teams Snaps
Austin Corbett 71 (100%) 3 (13%)
Brady Christensen 71 (100%) 3 (13%)
Ikem Ekwonu 71 (100%) 3 (13%)
Taylor Moton 71 (100%) 3 (13%)
Cade Mays 71 (100%)
Tetairoa McMillan 62 (87%)
Xavier Legette 57 (80%)
Bryce Young 49 (69%)
Tommy Tremble 47 (66%) 3 (13%)
Chuba Hubbard 38 (54%) 1 (4%)
Rico Dowdle 33 (46%) 2 (9%)
Mitchell Evans 31 (44%) 3 (13%)
Ja'Tavion Sanders 26 (37%) 12 (52%)
Jalen Coker 26 (37%) 1 (4%)
Andy Dalton 22 (31%)
Brycen Tremayne 16 (23%) 17 (74%)
Jimmy Horn 15 (21%) 4 (17%)
Trevor Etienne 4 (6%) 7 (30%)

That snap count vs touches is gonna be a problem in the future. Dowdle got more touches on less snaps, if I’m seeing it I know NFL d coordinators are.

Looks that way. Is it possible maybe he wasn’t 100% but wanted to protect his job? I mean I would look at what Rico did with some worry if I were out.

The true bookends, Byron Bell and Nate Chandler.

We protected Cam Newton with these two. If PFF was around then, they might've had a zero in pass protection when they allowed nine sacks against the Eagles in 2014.

If you add two of our guards from our 2023 season, that may be the all-dud of offensive lines.
