Sounds like our social media team needs to return the favor by showcasing  whoever it was (Ransom?) on our team absolutely obliterating Fields helmet-to-helmet because of his late slide

If they want to be petty, they could just retweet this. Nothing else needs to be said.

Lol What? He’s been surprisingly durable given the narrative around his size coming in.  He’s taken some big hits and bounced right back.

Yeah, honestly he has been significantly more durable than this Superman-esque QB in Anthony Richardson that so many here lusted for.

If anything, Bryce has dramatically outdone the qualms about his size and durability.

Now his QB play.....woof.

Listen, even if you don’t think it’s a dirty play the fact that Bryce got hurt on it it’s still classless to showcase on your social media

Absolutely agree!  Of course, I don't think the Jets ability to read a room has ever been their strong suit.

Man, now Bryce can’t even be tackled I guess. He truly does get protected and coddled like no one else.

He is the most protected qb to have done nothing in the pros ever I will never understand the love for him.  He does nothing as a qb in the nfl that most late round qbs could do.

If he did that on purpose that was some next level matrix sh*t.

And why do you hate Young? Seems extreme for someone you probably have never met.

I hate how limited of a QB he is for my favorite team.

I mean, let's not cheerlead the man getting injured. That's low class even by Huddle standards.

I didn't mean it like that.  I just mean it's the reason nobody celebrates the fact that he's well exceeded his durability concerns.  Like beyond a standard deviation.

I don't wanna see anyone get hurt.

Not talking about getting hurt. Specifically talking about him going to the turf. There was one play this year where the lineman gave him a little one handed push and it was sack.

This is the biggest thing i hate about BY. The wind blows wrong and he goes down. Like anyone gets a hand on him and he's going down.

?

The dude stepped on his plant leg. We’ve seen him break plenty of hand swipes/arm tackles. I seem to remember one play his shirt getting pulled like a rubber band in the end zone.

See, I was told up and down last week that these kinds of takes are fringe and rarely if ever happen…and when they do they are very unserious. Is it my fault for taking this seriously? Are the pies not people agreeing, but rather an inside joke? Let me know.

Bryce Young has come into camp three offseasons in a row looking completely the same as if he couldn't be bothered to enter the weight room and his fumbling issues have also carried over three seasons in a row. So I have no idea why anyone would expect not to see this subject of him going down with minimal contact eventually come up. Don't have to like it but that comes with the territory of being a #1 pick.

So it is serious? Very hard to have a reasonable discussion when you’re blaming Bryce Young for going down when a 300lb defender steps on his plant leg and injures him.

Bryce haters gunna hate.  Can't change that.

Bryce has been pretty durable all things considered.  A couple minor injuries considering how much he was hammered year 1.  And he still takes hits.  Dude is tough.

The play in question is a football play, poo happens.  That's ultimately what happened.  Guys running around, trying to stop Young and stuff happened.  Sucks but that's how it goes.

For me, I'd rather see Young play.  He will either prove that he's the Dude, a JAG (leaning heavily right now), or an outright bust (some of you were there on draft night, lol)

I agree and that has been one of Bryce's best qualities - he has stayed healthy. Bad luck for him on the injury of maneuvering the sack and the Jets guy stepping on his ankle trying to change direction.

The post you quoted mentioned him going down with minimal contact which has happened frequently throughout his 37 career games it just is what it is. I don't see anything about saying it's his fault his leg got stopped on. And it is unfortunate to see Bryce Young get hurt but things happen and given his size and lack of any real physicality it was always going to be an inevitability. It wasn't like we didn't know this when we drafted him.
