Not simping, just saying…  people also thought Daniel Jones was washed before he went there because of how bad he looked with his previous team - I didn’t.  Sometimes if they have the ability, a change of scenery is what is needed, but tbh, after watching us yesterday, I think our problems are much bigger than who is starting at QB.

Yeah, I didn't either but Jones had already been a solid QB in his career. That wasn't a tough sell. Richardson was INSANELY raw in college and looked even worse in the NFL.

I agree on QB but we do need to upgrade for sure in the offseason. We can't keep throwing backup QB's at the job and expect franchise results.

I bet they are keeping Dalton around to make Young look better.

Dalton was brought in as a veteran to be the mentor to Bryce.

And an emergency back-up if need be. Never meant to really take the reins.

And well, I really think it's time to put Hooker in, set Andy back on the bench and in the film room. Bryce needs more time to heal. Maybe a lot more time.

If you think Andy was bad just wait until you see Hooker. Thats if he has even learned enough of the playbook to complete 1 drive much less an entire game.

It was like he never took a NFL, so odd..... I did not forsee that piss-poor of performance form a Vet like Andy.....I swear Vinny off the couch had more awareness. The highest level of mistakes too, you 100% can not take a sack, red takes a softy sack......He toss a INT within 3 yards right at a DLman. It was like Andy was playing for the bills, about one of the worst games Ive seen form a Vet, A vet that's 26th all-time in yards and TDs while not being 40 years.....He looked 50 out there with the indecisions.

BY still loses this game, but they would score two more times.

I know football is a very complicated sport to evaluate because of all the moving pieces.  But its like a guy struggling to bat .100 in AAA and the MLB club going "Call him up.  He's ready"

Who was Cam's backup? Derek Andersen. Pat Mahomes? Chad Henne. Josh Allen? Derek Andersen, (yes the same) and Matt Barkley. Burrows? Brandon Allen. They didn't bring in competition either. That's not how this works. Honestly, Dalton is better than all of those guys.

I though Dalton was washed when he played for the Saints....but here we are.

This is the answer. When the Saints who have been a complete dumpster fire at QB moved on that should have been an enormous red flag. But not for the Panthers who couldn't wait to bring him in to be a mentor and culture building block. BARF.

Yeah, but the futility of it all, at least it will have a different seasoning to it.

Oh yeah, I agree. But they also had the same coach through those three years.

What bothers me, though, is that Bryce is still our best QB as far as we can tell (I mean Hooker could be a miracle waiting to happen maybe). Tough times.

They were not going to have it be otherwise, or have it even be a question I should probably say.
At least by bringing in Hooker and White someone is doing something. Bare minimum.

if using the season and Bryce's play as the reference marker.....odds are they wouldn't of scored much more.  When Rico hasn't gone for 200+, the O with Bryce doesn't do the whole "offense" thing very well.  It basically hasn't existed outside of those 2 games Rico would bonkers (Cardinals sort of let them have some offense to get back into that one).

Changing the turd at the top of the pile does not make it less of a pile of crap. It can and will get worse. It would also cost Canales his job for doing such a moronic thing this early in the season. When they are out of the playoff hunt then maybe he can play around with the roster. Doing it now means you are throwing in the towel on the season.
