All of this and more seem to point to he's not the one we need running the show.

WFNZ and some other podcasts notably Al Wallace were incredibly vocal about how DC was massively out coached on Sunday

It's impossible to predict what might be going through Tepper's head. He's shown a very quick trigger finger at times and maddening levels of patience at other times. So who knows?

I get what you are saying.  Feeding off bottom dwelling teams is not going to be the highwater mark. 

I like him, he's had some good games and almost pulled of some incredible upsets but almost doesn't count.  I just don't feel like he has much more to give.

However, consider the decision to not get a better backup QB and practice squad QB falls squarely  on him   He is both HC and OC 

it isn't like he doesn't see Dalton everyday for  the past 2 years

Fair but we were 3-3 under Matt Rhule and Sam Darnold once too.

Didn’t even try for Harbaugh and Vrabel, granted, we don’t know the whole story with those two, maybe they didn’t even want to actually be here (who can blame them) but settling in Canales…oof

Canales is just inconsistent week to week sometimes, we see a lot of good and a lot of bad. I think that can just be chalked up to growing pains of a probably too young NFL Head Coach. I still like him, even with his faults, and he deserves to pick his own QB for some continuity with the team.

I think he gets minimally outcoached frequently. That doesn't get enough air time.

This. He became a HC too early. If we want to see who he can be, we have to give him a few years to figure it out. 

It took Ron a few years and he had much more experience than DC.

Oh, and he needs a QB.
