Christensen officially goes on IR. Panthers sign Mike White to roster to back up Young due to Andy Dalton’s injury.

Proves my point that Hooker is horrible and is literally just here to run scout team. The Panthers would rather have had 37 year old Andy Dalton with an injured throwing thumb out there than Hooker. They also sign a guy who has been here 8 days over Hooker who has been here 9 weeks.

I thought this was what you were alluding to in your awkward Andy Dalton thread but I figured maybe you had just gotten liquored up. You're actually serious? You're really going to trivialize the actual racism our only MVP in franchise history Cam Newton endured despite being rookie of the year and changing the culture of this franchise just so you can bafflingly incorrectly posture about people wanting a white quarterback because our #1 pick who was billed as a generational pro ready talent has been anything but that? Pathetic.

It just makes me question these personnel decisions even more.

one would think that QB isn't the most important position on the team .

…or that this team has a small of frame QB by anyone’s measure 

…there are 17 games in a season

…why are they surprised he got hurt and they are unprepared 

After they made a prior decision to keep a declining dalton, ditch the long  term, not great Jack Plummer and he is replaced with so poor of a  project  that he isnt viewed as even 3rd string

what are they doing

From being signed on Thursday to maybe starter on Sunday? I don't think so. Go look at his body of work and you will see he isn't a Vinny T kind of Vet.

Bryce is going to start with Dalton hurt (and terrible to boot) and White coming in from the dark (and also terrible too).

      I don’t know about floor in a team defense sense but we needed more.  The floor that I am familiar with is our QBs floor and it is so low that every other part of the team needs to be beefed up.     We tried our best to improve these things and I think we did improve the defense and we at least kept the offense  from sinking from no LT.  And ostensibly helped the receivers too.   So we kept a window open that we at least have a chance to improve our record by a game of two.  Which would probably give us the division.

      Yeah. I am one of. those who think a JAG RB can eat with really good blocking. (Brooks is most important in my mind, in tbe passing game and that is what we’ll lose without him)  There are a lot of aspects to this. The big one that caused us to struggle is Young and his arm scared no one.  Best back, best blocking still cannot defeat a really good defense if they are not forced to respect the pass.  And teams did not.    But, a strong OL and running game Can get us over against weaker defenses.  And if Bryce still doesn’t scare anyone we can still win some games. Like last year  So it is really important to tend to that OL.   Get that straight and see if in his fourth year he can finally back defenses off. That is what if is all about this year to me, on the Bryce front.
