If you want to play hypotheticals, I would be against that, the same way I would be against a fake slide.  That's clearly not what was happening.  Defender was right there, and he could have ensured Bryce didn't do that without trying to take his head off.

There was a reason it got the reaction from the sideline it did.

We have the same people consistently hating on Bryce and are quick to do it.  I just notice the pattern.

He didn't track the ball, and definitely could have put more effort into the route at the end.

May not have caught it, but could at least have contested and maybe saved an interception.
