That jives with my theory of why we don’t have a younger backup that can push him, though not so much because the players see it but because the fans would make a fuss.
Imagine right now if there were one of those on the roster….

Plummer could zip it, but he was as accurate as a blindfolded weatherman

And sluggish I thought   I didn’t see much of him. It was kind of…. Next.
it is funny,, almost  every time I say that I want the assets, all the tools, I am told about the guys with the tools that don’t have all the goods to go with them.
You still have to have the tools. Of course there is more to it.

What are everyone's thoughts on davis mills? He would be a definite improvement over Bryce next year then draft someone and let them sit behind him

You happy giving up a 2nd round pick for him? Cos that's exactly what they'll ask for him.

They aren't going to ask for a 2nd. Id do a fourth and xl though. I bet XL would occasionally catch a pass if he had a QB that could challenge the defense deep. Why in the blue fug did we trade up for a raw prospect when Ladd would have been a much better fit for baby Bryce's game

Give me macaroni Jones give me Sam Howell give me anybody but Bryce. I can't watch him play football for another season

I can't listen to those fools. I tried and couldn't take more than 10 seconds.

I used to listen to them every day. Out in the boat fishing.
When the Bryce homerism wouldn’t yield to the reality they started slamming texters that disagreed with them. Being derisive and mean spirited and the textor can’t respond publicly.
That is when reached my fug you point with them.

    • Bryce has been playing the best ball of his career the last three games IMO. He wasn't the reason we dropped the game in NOLA. Seattle's defense will be his toughest challenge yet this season
    • I'll be at the game Sunday and up until last year I had a perfect attendance record. Now however I have seen us lose to the Chiefs (last year) and the Bills (this year). So we can no longer rely solely on my ability to pound overpriced beers to propel us to a win.
    • I haven't been able to watch Seattle on a dedicated basis but the Seahawks are a much better team by the all accounts: eye test, record and DVOA. Defensively they are sick. Best DVOA in the league first in rushing and second in passing. Offensively their passing game has been on fire this year led by JSN I can easily see this being like the Buffalo game where things just get out of hand for us early, that being said this league really is week to week and Seattle does have the disadvantage of traveling cross country for an early game.  If and big if, the Panthers are able to effectively run the ball and limit the amount of time Seattle's offense has to generate explosive plays we have a path to winning this game.  Seattle fans won't be happy to hear this but bad Darnold is always lurking in the background. He is truly an enigma to root for bc he will have an incredible throw that only a few people can make but then will turn around and throw the most bone headed pick of all time.  I think ultimately we drop this one as ultimately it's human nature to be looking forward to that week 18 game. But man how special would it be to be leaving the stadium on Sunday with a win and a miracle dolphins upset
