TMac injury

He popped up on the injury report mid week a few weeks ago with the same thing.

Anyone see anything out there if this is going to be similar to that and he'll still play or if his availability is in real question for this weekend?

Because of course I have no backup WR to play this week if he ends up not playing, scrambling right now trying to find at trade partner with no good options on waivers (unless I pick up XL or Coker to play in his play, but that just seems scary in it's own right lol)

He will play, its only questionable status.  Just sucks hes dinged up.  This is a game where we should beat the horse poo out of them and he could go off

He, saying it's "only questionable" doesn't mean much since it just popped up today in practice, to me that's just the initial thing they put down, particularly as if they knew he wasn't going to play already, making him doubtful or out would give the Saints that knowledge too.  Had he been on the report all week but still practicing in a limited designation, I wouldn't be concerned.

But late week hamstring pop ups can very much go either way.  Either it was a slight tweak so they then sat him down for the rest of practice to make sure he didn't make it worse and cause a real injury, or it was a real hamstring pull and they'll make him inactive for the game to hopefully only miss one week as opposed to multiple weeks by playing and making it worse.

    • After some of the calls last year probably won't see much of a drop off

Resisting changes that would actually incentivize good performance and not seniority based systems. What a bunch of donkeys. Hope the replacements straight up take their jobs and never give them back. Sick of watching refs script games with no repercussions.
    • Donovan seems like highest risk to me. Lloyd and May have already established relationships with all these kids. There’s probably guys hitting the portal that they recruited from HS. And then there’s the possibility of transferring their own guys from their current teams. They’ve also been recruiting the HS kids for like the next 5 years already. Look at the Iowa coach who hit the ground running by transferring all his guys from his D2 program. Or going across sports to Cignetti transferring all his JMU guys year one then building off that to a national title year 2. Donovan is starting from square one having been in the NBA so long and he’s already 60. So you’re potentially punting year 1 for a guy you are just hoping to be a 10 year hire while you figure out how to actually develop your next home grown 20yr guy. That’s 1/10th of the time you have him, more or less at best. The hope would be that he would find some high level assistants who have been working the college recruiting trails already, but then are you giving up his ideal staff just to get a foothold in recruiting and transfers. Think Belichick year one was bad? Imagine how much worse it would be without Steve Belichicks transfer portal pulls. Hoping Mays or Lloyd are all they’re cracked up to be.
