Trevor Lawrence available next year?

I think if he continues to play at the level that he's at right now, he will be playing for a different team next year, cause I think Liam Cohen is gonna want his own quarterback in Jacksonville, and I do think there will be a market, maybe uh a Trevor Lawrence for Kyler Murray swap, something like that.

Surprising they are souring on him one year after signing a massive extension, but is it even true?

Either way Lawrence an upgrade over Bryce even with his issues. The Panthers roster is probably about the same as Jacksonville right now so it might not make a difference here. At least Lawrence can throw the ball past 20 yards.

Not gonna happen. Would incur an almost $100 mil dead cap hit.

They are stuck with him for at least two more seasons, most likely.

You do know Trevor has less passing touchdown, more turnovers and a worst passer rating and comp% than Bryce? Lol

And he has Coen who has proven to better than Canales and BTJ who is ten times better than any of our WR.

And you think it’s a bright idea to trade and pay him 50 mill a year

The Jags are souring on Lawrence. If the Low passer rating/completion % continues. They may move on from him if this keeps up. Guy has all the physical traits anyone could want in a QB. Do you think an offseason deal would be worth it? Our "QB whisperer" would have a new project to develop. He is only 26 years old and could be saved.

It's probably highly unlikely that this would happen. What would you be willing to do if he is on the block. Draft picks, players? Throw Young in the deal as a booby prize.

What you got?

    • https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp Going by this chart that won’t get it done, at all.  both of our 5th rounders are worth 56, total.    The 51st is valued at 390. Moving to 41 takes 100 points. In the second where we are, it is basically 10 points per slot. You can get in front of TB for 60 points. Baltimore at 45.  Which who would do that for 56 points? You are on a wing and a prayer.    To realistically have a good shot at these top guys, outside of Golday, it is gonna take at least 100 points, I am thinking.  And when they go, Golday’s market probably gets a lot hotter.  Just going by the rankings/valuations, I am thinking if you realistically want to assure you get your guy it will take trading back in the first. Which is why I have been saying to do that if we can.  For example 19 is valued at 875. 21 is 800. That, plus one of the 5ths gets you to 100 points which you theoretically could use to get to 41.    I think there are going to be several good options for us at 19, if we are good with taking what is left at 21-23 we can get a good player plus fund a trade up for one of these LBs which is what I am thinking makes sense.
    • Alabama money line is a big one.
    • I'm just letting everyone know he's on the list in the second tier, not that I think it gets there because Donovan wants the job.  UNC is waiting on Lloyd and Arizona's run to end, if that doesn't work out then Donovan is likely the new head coach.
