Official Week 12: Panthers @ 49ers Gameday Thread

I think this matchup is going to require us to break some trends.  The O generally struggles to get moving vs teams that aren't bottom half the league in run defense.   The pass game generally struggles outdoors and on the road.  Our LBs/D really struggle w/ the threats the 49ers put on the field.

I haven’t watched… he is melting down over there too? Lol. Always talking about being a good teammate too. That isn’t being one.

Oh, I was talking about Justin melting down lol. Adam ain't saying nothing but I know he got a part of him questioning  stuff right now. He actually  would've did better just retiring, instead of basically  being inactive. Lol

I definitely didn't forget. The 49ers can suck all the dicks imagineable.

That is what they do out there in SF.

I remember SF Atl and St Louis except I remembered them as the LA Rams which I guess they weren’t. Totally forgot the Saints but they were totally forgettable back then. So….
SF was the hump we had to get over back then.
I remember going to watch the SF game at a bar when I was living in Atl in 1996, and we beat them. Loved it.

SF is weak versus the pass. It's where we will have to beat them early and often if we have any hope.

    • I'm looking at the schedule and I see a 10+win season easy.  I think Carolina goes undefeated in the division.  I also believe that the Bears, Bengals, Lions, Browns, Steelers are very winnable.  Revenge game with phillips and the eagles could be a win.  Honestly only 2 games I see as chalking up a L to off the bat is the Seahawks and Broncos.
    • I guess so. Don't think I was involved with previous discussions.  Tepper is one of the newest owners in the NFL. Dan is going into his 3rd season as a GM - ever. Dave is going into his 3rd season as a HC - ever. Before becoming a HC, he was an OC/playcaller for one season total. Idzik is about to go into his 1st year as a play caller - ever. WRs are rookies, sophomores and 3rd year guys - though the experienced 3rd year guys are XL and Coker (who has missed a ton of games). TEs are guys going into their 2nd and 3rd seasons, and Tommy Tremble - though Sanders has missed a ton of games. QB has played 3 years. Chuba is an experienced RB, but Brooks and Etienne have taken very little snaps at the position. O-line is more experienced vets with some talent - which is HUGE. Need them to stay healthy. I mean the offense is very young in every aspect except O-line. You see it differently?
