Against a one win team.  Whoooo hoooo

panthers lost to thr saints back when they had one win...young didnt do much that game and panthers have all the reason in the world to fight hard as they are now and were then still alive for playoffs..not saying he is better or worse than young just saying its early to throw rocks in glass houses lol

Regardless of how our season goes, most unanimously agree, we need to revamp the QB position.  I been banging the table for Shedeur for a few years now, and he is proving his worth…  we honestly should’ve drafted him but it doesn’t matter now.  I think he’s going to have a similar path as Joe Milton, where he was drafted late and flipped for a slightly better pick than where he was drafted at prior to his second year.  Maybe a 4th rounder?

also, Stefanski is a POS.

He has looked genuinely bad minus a throw or two every game until this one... for someone who has been bashing our qb since day one basically, youre awfully high on this guy after one good game against the worst team in the nfl.

They lost to the team that was the worst team in the league last year, tied for the worst this year (worst before this win) and traded three defensive starters at the deadline.

This stat line is very close to those Bryce had in his game against AZ this year (330yds, 3td, 1 int). Doubt those in this thread were slobbering over it then. Stats tend to accumulate when you throw over 40 times a game. Who cares if you lose.

They also blew two key two point conversions.

Shedeur is in year 1, while that game you’re referencing from Bryce was year 3 Bryce…

Which means what exactly? I was comparing only to underscore the subjectivity of stats and that even Bryce can accumulate them throwing enough.

Maybe this will be meaningful in Shedeur’s overall development? It’s an incredibly small sample size that looked rough before today. There are multiple reasons to question their significance, and there were some major mistakes that factored into the loss.

I am not on his jock but not sure why wanting to avoid being behind Lamar Jackson is worthy of scorn.

That could be a 4 year sentence to having pine splinters in his butt. Which might be good for him for a couple of years… not 4 though.

    • Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.
    • Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays. Plus there's this-  https://x.com/PFF_College/status/2018385471068332410?lang=en     I hope he's ready, cause Id like to see him starting and doing his thang with dbrown, nic, and Phillips.
    • I mean there is relevance to that. But I think much of it has to do with the fact that he is clearly likeable. But does that translate to a coach taking his position to the next level like those that have had staying power for many years like Spoelstra? And not for nothing but does how much someone is liked even matter? Across leagues with the Panthers Ron Rivera and Marty Hurney were universally well liked by players. Dave Canales is very well liked. I say you are what your record says. And the record says you got your ass handed to you by a fellow expansion team in the Magic in a game that was over at halftime and that same team went toe to toe with our nemesis who has been handing us L's for over a year now. And if Bam doesn't get his leg swept by LaMelo do we even get past the Heat? Again. It just all boils down to personal standards. I think newer and younger fans will love this. I just want to actually win a real playoff game fam 🤷‍♂️
