The Falcons had 3rd and 28. 3rd and 28th! And they won?!

Sills is surprising me.  I knew he had all the hype as a QB in HS and eventually switched to receiver, but I assumed his path to and while in the league would ultimately be unimpressive.  He looked damn good tonight and that catch was so fuging clutch.

I’ll 100% be there for a home playoff game. Been wayyy too long, i don’t even care if we get the 49ers or something and they blow us out, we need to just get in the damn postseason again

I don’t even care about a W if we make it. It’s been so long. Sitting comfy in BOA for a playoff game is a W for me. I live across the country so it’ll be about a grand but it’s happening.

if a miracle happens and we win I’ll be taking out a loan.

I think he has always suffered from the defensive coach syndrome when it comes to offense.  That seems to be where his teams always start coming apart, be it turnovers or them getting to conservative at times.

Yeah but even the D is falling apart badly this year and his general HC game management type skills are lacking. I’d love him in a DC/assistant HC type role but he’s not a great HC

    • We had Darnold in a terrible situation for Sam Darnold and the team he's QBing. Darnold is best deployed as a high level game manager. He has elite throwing skills but he's disaster waiting to happen when he has to press and a QB has to press on a bad team. Seattle is a great spot for him surrounded with great weapons with an elite defense to lean on.  Swap him and Stafford last night and the Seahawks cruise while Darnold has 3-4 turnovers having to try to play hero ball for the Rams.
    • This picture was posted by the NFL back in September and shows Darnold and Maye at the front closest to the Lombardi trophy. I personally don’t believe in the “script” theory. I do believe that the NFL will influence specific games to get a more entertaining outcome at times. However, this is gaining some steam online and even got a response from NFL PR.
    • In the last 5 years, nearly 10% of the NFL's starting QBs (195 of the NFC QBs) were / are (at some point) on the Panther's roster.  Of those QBs, their 2025 win percentage (regular season) was (combined-- the Seahawks, Bucs, and Panthers) won 30 of 51 games--nearly 60%--in 2025.  At an average of 10 wins per season, a team has a better than 90% chance of making the playoffs.  (Heck, I nearly added Caleb Williams to this forumula since we basically gave the Bears their QB as well).
