if you didn't watch 3 plays.....the D that played the Rams looked exactly like last years.  I mean the Rams are a very good offensive team but just how easy that walked the field us on all game is a tad concerning.

and the Panthers should 100000% roll out the same gameplan vs the Saints.  All you need is Jaycee Horn not to give up 2 massive TDs and it's an easy ugly win.   We know how the winning forumula.  It isn't balance.  It's leaning on the run and having Bryce make very few throws that matter.  Hope he can when the few moments call.

That is true, it was very concerning how easy the Rams made it look, but I feel like they were picking on our very thin secondary. Should be a better showing if we get to play them again.

And yes we are rush first for sure, but if Bryce doesn’t throw the ball at all downfield we are being too conservative and will not make it past the first round. Our running is our bread and butter but if you can activate the good Bryce more consistently and he can throw the clutch shots, then that is the balance I am talking about. Not 50/50, more 65/35. Seems like Canales was going 80/20 in either direction there for a few weeks. I just hope Bryce builds more confidence and then we will be able to hang with anyone.

This. If Bryce can just be a game manager  and Canales leans in to the run game, this team can beat anyone in the league. Bryce can make clutch throws in clutch moments, but asking him to do it all game is a recipe for failure.

well, would be a disclaimer on that, they could beat anyone w/ that strategy if a team doesn't show up or plays poorly.

We could play the Rams 10 times and play well in most, they are going to beat us the majority of the time.  Pretty big disparity in talent still exists IMO.

Yup. Top gear for top gear, panthers lose by 2 plus scores. High gear panthers vs an elite’s team middle gear is probably a 3 point game either way.

High level Panthers football looks like the third quarter of the Rams game. This team has 2 very solid backs and a powerful line. That can make any game close.

Winning fixes everything.

We're in the lead, for at least this moment, and like being on a sled dog team, the view from the front is much, much more pleasant.

I think the team is ahead of schedule right now. And I like that. Would really love to see us win out the rest of these games. And in the playoffs, anything can happen.

Bad and untalented teams don’t beat the Rams, Packers and Cowboys.

We were beat in the 2015 season at that game vs Falcons. They kept us from going undefeated

(okay, I have other opinions as to why that happened, but even so -- we were THE dominant team that year, and still found a way to lose a game)

Packers lost to the Browns this year

heck, in the disaster finale Rule season, with an interim HC, the week after we cut CMC and starting PJ….we whipped Tom Brady.

good teams lose to bad teams all the time,  good teams lose to meh/average teams every single weekend in sports, multiple times over.  You can not be a good team and have good wins.  Really bad teams generally can’t stack multi good wins but average teams can
