I am so tired of watching rigged games

Yep.

Likewise, I 've always wondered why it's never "rigged"  when we win.

For the rigged game narrative to be believable, you have to be able to make a convincing argument that we could have won the game if it weren't. Our prior game performance vs the Saints fix makes that a more difficult task.

What makes it even more difficult is when you can point to identifiable mistakes.

You can certainly do that in today's game.

Since I know we are stuck with Bryce my hope is that in the off season we get a real edge rusher and or ILB... its also confused the crap at me that we haven't gotten a legit receiving TE since Olsen.

I'd vote for it

I'm just tired/drained after this game. I hate that I let this team ruin my Sunday again. I think I'm gonna golf next Sunday and just check the scores from time to time. I've never been mad when I just see that they lost...it's a different story when I watch.

Fixed games are becoming too obvious and it’s making watching football a waste of time. It’s clear the Saints are being controlled to win today, just like the 49ers game was blatantly rigged, so it’s not even being hidden well. The NFL is probably making a killing on these betting apps and they can control games to make certain games have more viewing appeal. We’ve known since the 70s the mob had ownership stakes in NFL franchises but this is absolutely atrocious. If it benefits the Panthers or not, this isn’t fun to watch anymore and it’s ruining the sport for me.

i agree some games appear refs are paid to call certain calls ...todays game i didnt see that.  basically they just needed not to hit the sliding qb late and in the head time it happened everyone knew it was a flag.  i saw lots of flags both sides the panthers scored 17 points against thr saints thats just sad

the side by side shows how different the two plays were latham launched himself into a down shoighs head.  byoung half slid half pulled up like he was gonna fake it

Absolutely no diffence in the sudden slide from both Qb's both were going full throttle and deciding to bail as the defender was engaging.

My issue with the last play is the saints clearly had no intention of running another play and were banking on the refs throwing a flag. Im all for protecting QBs but if you wanna run a designed run he needs to be treated like a regular football player. Its incredibly frustrating after a decade of watching Cam get destroyed. Do we really want to pretend if that was Rico taking a direct snap and sliding right before the defender engages that were getting that call?

Thats all I could think about watching this game.  I dont even think it's Vegas related.  I think the NFL would prefer tb make the playoffs over us.

Correct, Bryce simply 'shrunk' as he was about to be hit whereas Shough clearly was in the act of sliding.  Sliding correctly means you get horizontal as quickly as possible, extending a leg while falling on your hip/backside.

Even if you thought Bryce's hit was slightly late, it wasn't violent.  Shough's hit was a kill shot even if that wasn't the intent...it definitely looked that way.

Yeah, just seems like a generally flag happy crew. Not much incentive for the league to help the Saints or screw us this week. Not like them trying to keep Josh Allen's Bills in the hunt today with Mahomes, Lamar, and Burrow already out of the playoffs.

Just an opinion but...I told people all week that I didn't know who would win what game...just that the final game would be winner take all. That's why I believe it's fixed. The league would not allow either team -- Bucs or Panthers -- to win out before the final Sunday. Television. Not helping the Saints. Same with the Patriots-Bills yesterday. Patriots could have clinched at home. The League doesn't want anyone to clinch on Week 15.
