Bryce Young is the first Panthers QB to throw for 20+ touchdowns in a season since Cam Newton in 2018.

Kyle Allen had 17 in 12 games. We moved on from him before his second season. If the QB's TD% isn't greater than 5% does it really matter they threw for more than 20 TDs but less than 25?

Canales drawing up the plays to get him those TDs has been the most impressive improvement.

Feels like cheering on someone who's almost to the minimum requirements for the most expensive 1st round QB in league history. Can we celebrate when he actually arrives? I'm glad he's improving like an undrafted QB, because he was on the verge of being a complete bust. Now, he's just on the fence with 2 games to go to decide if he stays or goes.

That's not how PFF works. PFF is per-play graded. https://www.pff.com/grades

How is this not exactly what I said? Your article first sentence:

The PFF grading system evaluates every player on every play during a football game. We believe that #EveryPlayCounts and that attention to detail provides insights and data that cannot be found anywhere else.

How many yards has Robbie had since his 1000 yard season? Lol.

DJ is a different type of receiver but his time as a panther, he was only 1 yard more YAC/R than TMac has right now as a rookie, and he only had 1 season here with more Y/R than TMac has so far (2020).

Teddy B orchestrated career highs for CMC, Moore, Anderson and Samuel.  And pulled it off without having legit NFL practices or coaching staff.

Again how is his fault Darnold is a terrible QB???? Your just proving my point Robbie was able to produce with Teddy and not Darnold, Robbie was more productive with Josh Mccown than Darnold LOL, that’s how terrible Darnold was in NY and Carolina

i don’t give a a crap about yac/r the tape doesn’t lie, Tmac does not get separation like DJ, he’s not as fast as DJ and opposing defenses never double or bracket cover him like DJ. DJ was the ultimate stat inflator for Darnold and Teddy, he would literally take 2 yard hitch pass for 40 yards. Tmac can’t do that.

See, this is how you can tell someone just reads stats.

I watched Teddy play. He was awful. Stats looked great, but only because he was averse to any form of risk. He was the opposite of clutch - we had chances to win so many games on a final drive that year, and we did that in exactly zero games. Genuinely, one of the most atrocious years of QB play in team history, right up there with year 1 Bryce, Jimmy Clausen, and Weinke.

You said that PFF is an algorithm that loads lots of data or whatever; it isn't.  It is a per-play grading system.

Yeah, I think some people are too hard on Teddy but he did have this issue where Bryce seems to shine at currently

Robbie Anderson's production in 2020 and the drop-off the following year and beyond was entirely due to his approach to his craft. The guy got a new contract fully started drinking his own kool-aid and became an arrogant headcase and basically nuked his career from there. Legitimately I've never seen anything like it so fast. It should be in a book about what not do in the NFL.

If we somehow got to the Super Bowl I assure only one or two imbeciles would be remotely complaining.

Their delusions are obviously important to them.

It makes them feel superior to paint us as petty mean spirited killjoys whose only mission in life is to slander their hero. Like comic book villains plotting world destruction.

Like… fuming? Really? Oh yeah. About ready to explode.

Over what? A win?

It only makes sense to them.

Nah if a receiver is productive before and after a specific QB is throwing to him you can’t blame that receiver. I don’t want to go back into the huddle archives but every other week there was all-22 film of Robbie getting wide open and Sam not seeing him or missing the throw.

Sam got 2 years with DJ Moore, Cmac, and Robbie with a much healthier O-line.  Bryce best weapon thus far in his career is a rookie that runs a 4.6. Last year alone was better than anything Darnold did in Carolina

Tet is a 4.5 guy literally no were Will you find 4.6 trying to make poo up.... Besides game speed and shorts speed are two different things.....  that "rookie" is also about to win OROTY with a wet noodle throwing him the ball.

P.S Jerry Rice Ran a 4.7

Mike Evans had similar speed to Tet as a rookie now hes a 4.8 guy dont see baker complaining
