Bryce fugging Young passed for a jaw dropping 54 yards & an interception

&  then some idiot is going to come along & try to convince you that we need to start Bryce Young again next season & also pick up his fifth year option

you cannot fix stupid I guess

Reminds me when we snuck in the playoffs with Cam.. beat the cardinals and got destroyed by SEA

I will correct you on the destroyed by Seattle. That playoff run and end of regular season at the tone for our young OL to gel and got us much needed playoff experience going into that fun 2015 season.

Back to destroyed, don’t forget that we were down by 14, but had the ball at the Seattle 10. Cam threw the 90 pick six and we scored again to lose by 14. We were 10 yards from a TD that was a 14 point swing in a 31-17 loss. Scoreboard looked bad but we had a nice long drive that ended up in 7 Seattle points instead of 7 Panthers points. No pick and it’s a possible OT/close loss.

I don’t care if Bryce comes out and throws for 500 yards and 7 touchdowns next week.  This today is who he is and is who he will always be, especially when we need him.  I’m officially off the BY train and will never come back aboard.

Also...I didn't see that he was pressured in under 1 second most every play, so I'm going to blame him and not the coach who didn't adjust to the Seattle blitz.
OK.

At least he got his average closer to 60% than 50% and boosted his passing yardage to over 2. At one point he was just over 50% completions with a 1.3 per completion average.

Lol I feel u. Majority of those stats are vs prevent defense... thats why those comeback stats are highlighted. Btw I know the sarcasm

Crazy to think that was 10 years ago

    • You don’t even need 1b because Tepper is the only one foolish enough to wheel that deal.    Player wise? Jake’s elbow. JR and Pep getting sideways, no Carruth, Cam’s shoulder, Luke’s concussions, it would be a long list of stuff. You can take it down to certain plays in games. Fox chasing 2 point conversions in the SB would be on my list. RMJr slipping at the end of that same game was not helpful.
    • Ultimately this just amounts to heavy revisionist history. I mean you aren't talking to someone that just popped out the womb a week ago. I was here all throughout the predraft process. The overwhelming majority of the fanbase felt like this was a fine situation and the best situation for a rookie QB to go to compared to Houston for example. The hype for Young and our "rockstar" staff was off the charts. No one could dare speak cautious skepticism of his abilities or they would be neg repped into oblivion. Only after he had one of statistical worst rookie seasons of the last 25 years did we get this narrative now that his rookie season actually shouldn't count. Complete malarkey if you ask me.
    • On the field? Since I guess it qualifies as multiple instances it might not count, but have the damn refs throw some flags on illegal hits to Cam's head in SB50. If that doesn't count, 1A. Cotchery caught it 1B. Kasey keeps that kickoff inbounds. Off the field? 1A. Team is sold to anyone but Tepper 1B. We have the patience not to mortgage the franchise on that Bryce trade. Stroudwpuldve been the better pick but he's not worth it either.
