Do Not Pick the 5th Year Option up on Bryce

You can't pick up the option on a player as terrible as Bryce. I don't think this organization is that stupid.

I don’t think ole brass balls has the guts (or the humility) to do the right thing and move on from Bryce.

It is unimaginable to me how low Bryce’s floor continues to be in year 3. Makes me want to puke watching him and this offense.

we should really just get some mid tier vet and ride him out until we can draft a starting qb

yeah well that would make way more sense than starting Bryce Young. he'll you could basically almost do about anything else & it would make more sense than picking up Bryce Youngs fith year option ...just saying

You know what would be awesome? If Tepper bought a team JUST to run them into the ground to provide one less challenge to the Steelers. And he's SO rich and SUCH a gangsta he was fine with it being an NFC team (just in case they ever faced the Steelers in the SB) lolololol. 4D chess.

If he's under contract he's at least trade bait. If we let him walk after next season, we get nothing. If he gets anything, give him the option.  I'm dead set against an extension.

Hes not even fish bait...

14/24 for 54 passing yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT - that's 2.3 YPA

In what was essentially a playoff game.

Holy hell folks.

Unacceptable.

Yea, they can’t pick up that option. They have to let him play out. We cannot get trapped into this inconsistent QB play

ok so well CJ Stroud plays behind one of the worse oLines in the NFL according to PFF the Texans oLine is currently ranked 32nd dead last & then on the other hand Bryce Young plays behind the highest paid oLine in the NFL

& then you will have these crazies all the time saying oh yeah well you know if Bryce Young played for the Texans then he would be good like CJ Stroud

how & why would any of that make any sense to another human being in their right frame of mind ?

It is ideal to think we could recoup some of the capital that was spent on drafting him, but it might just not be realistic. I would expect something similar to what the Jets worked out when moving on from Zach Wilson, maybe a little better, but not much at all.

It is probably irrelevant though, as I don't think we go down that path at all.
