Jalen Coker

Rozeboom

Yosh Nijman

Cade Mayes

Claudin Cherelus

Isiah Simmons (Might not be a good LB OR S but he is an amazing special teams player, that blocked punt yesterday was huge)

Brady Christensen- if Icky is out we’re gonna need Yosh and Brady to man down LT

As much as I’m a Nick Scott doubter, he is a solid run defender and our S behind him aren’t the best. Hopefully he would not be a starter next season rather a backup.

JJ Jensen- love that mf

Sam Martin dude was solid all year

Fortunately for us we don't have many guys here that'll break the bank.  Coker will get a decent little contract though.

Coker is an exclusive rights free agent. Meaning he will be a Carolina Panther next year likely for the league minimum.

That should not stop us from signing him to a long term deal

Yeah I think they're going to lock him down.  Nothing crazy.  Short term $3m/yr deal or so tops.

Icky will be out most of next season and even when he does return he won’t be back to 100 percent. Moton and Lewis are our highest perming/most consistent pieces on our line. No way he’s getting cut or traded.

With that being said:

-Cays (no brainer as he won’t break the bank and if we draft an upgrade at center he will be perfect depth as backup center and guard to replace the role Corbett had.)

-Coker - no brainer

That’s about it for major priorities that I see that we NEED to re sign. Everyone else we can replace.

I would like to see us re sign for DEPTH (definitely not as a starter):

-Yosh (1 year deal only)

-D.J

-Rozeboom

-Simmons (special teams)

-Jansen (keep the dream rolling with 1 year deals)

Coker, Yosh (priority 1), Treymane, Brady, Curhan, Mays, Cherelus, Incoom, Simmons

Moton just signed an extension. He isn’t going anywhere

The guys in green, I keep.  Yosh Nijman was quietly very solid for us.  Coker goes without saying.  I think Cade get's mid starting Center 3 year extension.  Everyone else in green has a role, but shouldn't break the bank.

The guys in blue I would like to have back, but at team friendly deals that won't kill us if we cut them.  We could do worse than having BC and AC as depth linemen.  After Ickey's injury we need a young tackle.  I will take AC, Curhan, and BC (health dependent) as interior back-ups.  In 2027 we draft for depth.  I'm not sure how the contracts for Wonnom and Jones Jr. are structured, but I could see DJW back on a much lower contract.

If Ickey has a torn ACL like I've heard, we are drafting a LT in the first round no questions asked.  I think if we spend a little money on a high caliber LB or draft a solid player in the 2nd or 3rd round Wallace, Cherelus, and Roseboom all have a role as depth pieces.
