NFL Free Agency

Well, the next big thing in the NFL cycle is free agency. Here's some key dates to keep in mind. 

February 17th: deadline for transition and franchise tags

March 9th: legal "tampering" period where teams can legally begin negotiating with free agents. We'll know where a lot of the major targets are heading before free agency technically begins.

March 11th: start of the new league year and official kickoff of free agency

Eight days to breathe it all in before rushing back into the fray. At least for the Seahawks and Pats. 

Everyone else has had a head start.
