yep

Best ability is availability in the nfl

I’m not big on “a’wishin and a’hopin “ that the player will be touched by Jesus for a sustainable nfl career

if they  can’t hold up in a shorter college season, how on earth can they hold up under 17 games a year and almost year rd training in the nfl

there are plenty of good players without issues, pick one of them

There are enough guys with clean health/injury histories that can’t stay healthy in the NFL you don’t need to chase oft injured talent.

Exactly--"Durability is the major concern. He has a history of injuries, including a torn ACL, MCL, and PCL from his time at Colorado, and has never played a full season at the collegiate level."

How did it work with Brooks?  For their needs (Coker, Legette, and TMac are larger WRs), Concepcion (Z Receiver who can play slot) makes more sense.  But when I see Carnell Tate falling to 16--for the record, I would not take Concepcion if trading back is an option.  I am thinking we should let teams know who might be interested in the draft's QB 2 that we are open for business.

Note that they have the Panthers NOT taking Freeling (OT) or Thienemen (S) or the DTs McDonald or Woods.  The draft, to me, seems to drop off around the 14th pick--trade back if you can.

So the two guys I originally wanted all the way back in December, that were projected around pick 20 are now mocked to go #3 and #5 overall; Bailey and Styles, respectively.  Go figure.

It means you have a good eye and are in the wrong business.

Was Bailey that low in December? Feel like he shot up like a quarter of the way through the season.

Styles is one that was low because he plays ILB. After the freakish combine he had + his results at Ohio st, he shot up the boards

Isn’t he also the one with the lowest broken tackle rate? Another Mingo?

Draft time is always tough. We all tend to have players that we want to see drafted, only to see out hopes dashed when the FO goes a different direction. I like what the team has done so far but I wouldn't be thrilled with a WR at 19, especially one who is already injury prone.

Looks like another mock draft guy that is completely clueless.

I feel confident we aren't taking a WR at 19 that is made of glass and will be lucky to play like half the games each season

Agreed. Canales likes WRs that can block down field and even IF this guy stays healthy his profile calls him out as not being a willing blocker.

I think DM and FO have done a better job this year smoke screening people not knowing which way they are going in this draft.....

Every mock of ours I see is completely different which I see has a big advantage if we end up making moves during draft

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
