Last year's schedule looked brutal and looked how that turned out.

Just never know who breaks out, who slumps and how injuries affect each team.

We were 8-9, LOL.. That's how it turned out. And we had the Jets, Jags, Dolphins, and Cardinals on the schedule.

I mean, literally our division are the most winnable games.

Lions-L

Bears-L

If Burrow and Jackson are healthy-L's

Seattle-L

Denver-L

Vikings-W (if we catch them early in the schedule)

Packers-L (depends which Love shows up)

Pittsburgh-Rogers-L, other QB,-W

Cleveland-Depends on QB play-L (again depends on when we play them)

Philly-L

Even if we go 4-2 in the division, this is looking rough.

2026 OPPONENTS HOME 不 ศีล AWAY 元 วิลิ G 福

non div

Away games - GB (L) Yes I remember last year, Browns (w depending on time of year)  Steelers (L)  Philly (L)  Sota(I honestly have no idea)

1-4 on the road

Home Bears (L)  Lions (L unless Wilks comes back) Bengals (L) Seattle (L) Broncos (1)

0-5   Call it 2-3 if stuff bounces our way at home   So we are 3ish and 10 out of division.   Even if we split with everyone thats still 7ish wins and that is brutal

I'm looking at the schedule and I see a 10+win season easy.  I think Carolina goes undefeated in the division.  I also believe that the Bears, Bengals, Lions, Browns, Steelers are very winnable.  Revenge game with phillips and the eagles could be a win.  Honestly only 2 games I see as chalking up a L to off the bat is the Seahawks and Broncos.

If we win 5-7 games and then extend Bryce, then he better have thrown for about 4k yards, with 30 TDs, less than 10 INTs, but we ended up with that record because the defense was riddled with injuries and allowed 30 points a game and cost us 3-5 wins that Bryce himself put us in position to win until the defense blew it.

If he throws 4k 30 10 I will be the first to say extend him.

The weakest part of our team will rise to top this season... Unfortunately I think its the QB position, followed by TE and RB... That is a recipe for another year of ups and downs. We are 1 good draft and a QB away from being legit division contenders in my opinion. 7 or 8 wins would be a win looking at our schedule. With that said, I hope 7 or 8 wins doesn't get BY an extension.

if we're as good as we think we are then I don't think SoS means anything.

in fairness, preseason SOS doesnt mean anything at all.  Injuries and roster turnover dictate everything.  I always think staying healthy is the biggest key to any decent season.

Ive been the first on here to say BY is a tough mofo.  Real tough.  But 3 years without a significant injury is rare air in the nfl at the qb position.   Simply put he is due, and no I am not wanting this to happen simply saying no matter how big (or small) you are you are going to get got.  And man wtf happens if he does miss significant time?

Come on down, Superbowl-winning qb Kenny Pick-it!

Same here, and I've been one of the biggest anti Bryce people on here.

Now, even then, I won't want us to make him a Top 5 paid QB, I'd like to see it still be a deal in that 10-15 range of highest paid QB's and/or have it just be a 2 or 3 year deal.  But if he puts up a season like that, he'll have earned the extension and right to be our QB moving forward.

I don't think he'll have a season like that as I don't think he's good enough, but as I've said every year for the last 3 years and now the 4th straight year... Even though I don't think he's that good or can do that, I desperately want to be proven wrong, because Bryce turning into the player the team thought they were getting him after that trade, is still our fastest path to contention than needing to replace QB again.

I thought about this schedule, and it is brutal. That said most of the games we played against caliber teams we either won or were in the game, minus the New England game.

We'll have a much-improved defense and if we can somehow get Brazzell incorporated into the offense and one of our TE step up we might have a nice offense.

So, I say we should be in most of these games.

Predicting the outcome of these games so soon after the draft before we even have OTA is just guessing so I won't predict.

I will absolutely lose my sh!t if this happens.  Arch and Moore go in the top 5. Mestemaker goes #8.  In this mock we have a chance at QB4 in what some are calling a generational QB draft and they have us taking a freaking DT at #10.  Sayin, Carr, Mensah and Sellers are ALL still available.
