Pure stupidity that any fan believes this.

After the first off-season BY said this in his first presser and you still don't believe it??? Then you know when people change form workouts, cause it is seen with eyes. BY looks the same as the day they drafted him, but you don't believe?? That's the proof, he's the same dude but you know better??I bet the kicker is now bigger after after he put in the necessary work that pros do and not " LOL I needed a break, lols". Theres alllll sort of PEDs out there for someone just like him and BY wants to remain below 190, what a leader....

Brainwashing at it finest.

Checking in to register my disappointment with the free day off.
Apparently we are so good that we can just skip practice and go to the beach.

Mini camp is practice for training camp. We have an extra week of training camp this year.

I get he's been a phenomenal QB for them, but contracts like this seriously hamper the ability to build a SB roster. Puts even more pressure on the GM and rest of the staff to hit drafts out of the ballpark, which is statistically unlikely. I have lots of faith in Andy Reid, but he's got his work cut out from him.

Somewhat Bryce related as it mentions him as a potential guy that could break 60 per.   I cannot imagine what type of season he would have to have to warrant a contract like that.  But if he has a good/decent season he is suddenly holding all the cards

Im not sure that a good or decent season is enough to hold all the cards. I think he would have to have an exceptional season to hold them this off season. A good or decent I think gets him playing on his 5th year until 6 games in to see if he replicates that level of success consistently. That's my thought, but hey, what do I know.

He actually didn't say that.

No, Bryce Young never said that he did not work out during his first off-season. In fact, leading up to his first NFL season, he openly stated he was following the team's strength and conditioning direction and followed workout plans sent by the Carolina Panthers

Online discussions and social media posts sometimes reference a viral quote, but Young was actually referring to decompressesion periods and time spent away from actual "Xs and Os" football, rather than a refusal to physically train. He even hosted teammates in California during his first off-season to get extra work in

I think people are harsh on him over the weightlifting a little bit but at the same time I don’t see any evidence that he has done anything.  I would think he should have been working on strengthening his base after watching how easy he goes down with any kind of contact. Like with a couple of fingers even.

Brother that piece is from 2025. BY was drafted in 23, came back from that sorry-soory-ass season and one of the reporters asked if he did any workouts or throwing. BY answered "NO", stating he had to get away and clear his mind sort of thing. His own words.....and he still looks like a middle school soccer player to this day in age of golden age of PEDs and lifting.

The article is from April of 2025, so it would have been prior to the start of last season. So saying he hosted a few of his teammates last year would refer to the time prior to the start of the 2024 season, ie after his first year.

Young hosted a few of his teammates last year in California to get some extra work in. Young said he plans to make that happen again at some point this offseason.

The only place I have ever seen that comment was here and other social media sites.  A google search returns nothing of substance.  An google AI search returns the following.

No, Bryce Young did not say he did not work out during his first off-season. In fact, reports and his own public comments leading into his first full off-season highlighted his focus on physical conditioning, pushing himself in the weight room, and making specific mechanical improvements to his game.

Until someone can show me some evidence that he actually said that he wasn't going to work out during the offseason, its just a social media rumor.
