Panthers Had A Bounty On Brett Favre

What Frank and many others don't seem to get IS THAT THE SAINTS BOUNTY PROGRAM WAS BEING ADMINISTERED BY THE COACHING STAFF.

IF in the Saints case it was a players only bounty system, like the scenario Frank is referencing, AND the Saints had been honest with the NFL about it AND put a stop to it when the NFL ordered them to, then the punishment (if any) would have been MUCH less severe.

Why is it hard for so many people to understand this???

It's better than the afternoon show by leaps and bounds

You mean you don't like Marc James, the biggest flip flopper I have ever heard on the radio? It is sad that we have to listen to two guys in the afternoon that would rather talk Hurricanes or Alabama football over our own Carolina Panthers. I tried to listen to them for about a month but I couldn't take it anymore, Marc James sucks.

Frank Garcia said it and also said that if it was Shocky that he shoulda "manned up" and spoke out against it while he was a Saint! ...Frank...really

Shocky was a Panther last season and the Bounty was set on him and his own QB and apparently Smitty...good time to whistleblow about that..

Why would you punish your own team...Im telling!!

Franks also said no one is setting out to hurt guys illegally...these are personal fouls, after whistle, away from the ball hits....see Brett Farve in the NFC championship game...

See, the yellow flag and personal fouls are illegal...

Frank also stated that no one is going after knees..see Fujita-Smitty and again...every hit farve took in the Championship game below the knees...rolling his ankle..breaking it in fact!

The moral of the story is that Garcia coaches at Charlotte Latin... Way to coach em up knuckle dragger..please evolve..this decade and know: sanctioning and condoning, encouraging after the whistle plays, diving at knees= Bad....playing with intensity and trying to blow up your opponent..different arguement and encouraged..

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
