I think it's a very encouraging decision by Jerry to look at different perspectives to get a good sense of the GM we require, but there's still plenty of time for him to fug up this decision.

for the GM search i think this sould be great, esp. given his respect for cam. the guy has been one of his biggest and most respectable supporters since auburn.

i think he knows enough about the league and would take a personal enough of an interest to make it a great selection.

I see what you are saying and I agree with you. I also think that he should have already identified the issue with the organization and already had someone in mind to come in and fix it. I'm not in disagreement about what he's doing, I applaud it. I just think that it looks bad to not already have had a course of action prior to firing your GM early in the season. I'm not the only one that thinks this either.
