Who is your favorite Panther LBer?

we've had some legends, greene, mills, morgan (that superbowl performance was the thing of legends).

witherspoon...i really wish he would have stuck around.

james anderson was a guy i had given up on, right before he took off. he's the classic blue collar workhorse.

beason has been a great leader and did a great job of stepping in for morgan when he did. he's got a lot of fire and i think we miss that when he's not on the field....but the MIke job i think has passed him by, at least here. i'd love for him to restucture (tho i don't know why he would) and i would love to see him make a comeback. TD let me know just how possible that is and i think that he's got as much fight in him as TD.

keuchly could very well be the best LB that we have ever had. already he's one of the best MLBs in the league and among the most respected despite his being a rookie. the guy is a phenom.

TD, tho, has to be my favorite. he has no quit to him and his recovery and return to dominance has been nothing short of miraculous. it's like he didn't miss any time at all. i love watching him fly around wreaking havoc wherever he goes. i'm so glad he's back and i'm so glad the organization stuck with him. i'd have to say that he is the heart of this defense.

That is very tough because our LBs are classy solid football players.

I love Davis's resiliency and his athleticism.

I love Beason's fire and leadership

I love Keuchly's productivity and upside

I love Anderson's consistency and work ethic

These 4 people might be the best true football players on the team.

Current: Huge fan of Kuechly, but I'd have to give Thomas Davis the nod. He's a fighter like few people are, and a good man. I had low expectations of him this season. What he's done is incredible.

All Time: Hard to pick anybody but Sam Mills. Loved the combo of Lathon/Greene (wish it had lasted longer) and Mark Fields before his off-field life became a mess. Morgan and Withersoon were great too, but best overall has gotta be Mills.

All Time Anywhere: Probably Mike Singletary.

    • The good news is that we are pretty uniquely well established to address all of our needs this season. We have $14m real cap space, and something like $40m in trade deadline cap space. Not sure exactly how that works out. But, we have the room to absorb any bad contracts. With recent rule changes regarding retention, that went into effect this season, we now have a huge advantage in the trade market.  On top of that, while we do have obvious needs, we also have a glut of talent in certain areas that we struggle to find ice time for. We are over-stocked on scrappy talented lil-guys, strong defensively sound 3rd liners and shutdown left shot dmen. Whether it's a package or separate deals, idk. But, one of each from Stank/Blake/Nads, Erob/Carrier/KK/Jank, and Walker/Nystrom; throw in some 1st round picks (and frankly any other prospects they want) and we should be able to come out with a 1b to pair with Bussi and either a 2c with size or a 2c and size.   TL/DR We got the money, you got the stuff?
    • I don’t  think 6’4 was ever considered small or undersized. Baby hands tho, yes that was his thing That’s an interesting idea, like an optical illusion? Sounds like you have personal experience with this!
    • in the 25' draft the Carolina Panthers had hired Brandt Tillis someone who actually understood how to build a successful team & build through the draft .  this team was yes mismanaged for years prior to Brandt Tillis joining the team in 25' & rarely done anything right in the draft outside occaionaly getting lucky on an UDFA such as Jalen Coker who's dad coincidentally happened to be a huge Carolina Panthers fan, hint hint  ...just saying
