How quickly will we see Kenjon Barner on Friday?

Id like to see him get some snaps with the first string. I feel like he might, considering Stew's injury. Only issue is time. 1st string will only be out about 2 drives max, right?

I could see him maybe getting a snap or two depending on how we move the ball.

Offense probably either get one series or two max. Starters just don't see the field in game 1 much. I think we see all Williams and Tolbert for those handful if plays. I expect him to get some work with the 1s in game 2 or 3.

early in the ffirst half, probably even in the first series on third down. and they probably keep him in for a long time.

You don't think Tolbert gets the 3rd down? Guess it depends on what plays they want to work on....if they have the O practicing pass plays I am not sure I want him potentially having to pick up a blind side blitz or something.

    • I think the qualification has changed over time though. A deep ball play used to take 4 to 6 seconds for the receiver to get to that spot on the field. Now a receiver can be there in 2.5. That's less time than most QBs have to set and throw. In my mind a deep route takes time to develop. A crossing route and a deep route can't take the same amount of time at full speed. You can have 4 deep balls on the same drive,  almost 5 if you do 5 20 yard throws goal line to goal line. That doesn't even make sense when you say it out loud.
    • The sad part is it looks manicured enough that he's aware it's running away from him.  Also, I just wanted to give you some fun loving grief on King Haynes today having a chance to throw a game winning TD, and was wildly errant, and ultimately picked off to end the game.  So happy I won't have to hear anything else about The Golden Calf of Bristol lite ever again watching college football.
    • I just think Panthers believe in Bryce far more than the fans do and he is most likely going to be the QB at least the next two seasons. the real shot of us moving from Bryce is not getting an extension, till then they are going to give him every chance to succeed and I just want to win.
