How quickly will we see Kenjon Barner on Friday?

You don't think Tolbert gets the 3rd down? Guess it depends on what plays they want to work on....if they have the O practicing pass plays I am not sure I want him potentially having to pick up a blind side blitz or something.

i was more thinking 3rd and long, but even if barner is on the field they could still have tolbert on the field as well. he is the fullback after all. 

 

that said, barrner has improved as a blocker this offseason so they might want to test him with that.

I think it's pretty likely, especially since he'll be getting a lot of time with the ones today seeing as D-Will and Tolbert both aren't practicing and Stewart is on PUP...

As much as they talked about wanting a player with his skill set, I wouldn't be surprised if one of the first plays they run is a pass to him out of the backfield.

I am thinking first quarter, but who knows if he will take the field with Cam.  Do you think they go by play count or one drive (even three and out) before pulling starters?

Maybe...but in camp no rusher is actually trying to hit Cam. I'd prefer his introduction not be trying to stop a blitzing Chicago Bear starter going after Cam in a 3rd and long. Let him warm up with DA first.

I think Deangelo will probably be seen on the 1st or 2nd series only, then Barner for the rest of the 1st qtr, then let Smith and Poole play the rest of the game.
