Good story. Byron seems like the kind of player that plays with a chip on his shoulder, I just hope he uses the criticism to fuel more improvement.

Byron is a class act.  His story is incredible and he is the kind of guy you pull for.  However, he is below average as a RT.  Need to upgrade, despite his performance vs. the Giants.  I remember, not too long ago, his performance in Buffalo.

I agree.  Great story.  From everything I've read and heard, Bell is really a good human being.  I'm glad he's having a chance to play pro football.  On the other side of things, one good game does not a career make.  I'd love for this to have been his corner, and he becomes a quality RT for us for a long time.  

 

We'll just have to see.  It was a cool article which speaks to his personal quality.  I hope his play on the field continues to get better.

Byron is a great dude. Met him at the team hotel in San DIego last season and he signed my helmet and we talked about his Lobos and his match-up with their defensive linemen the next day.

I've criticized Bell a lot in the past but to go to a game and talk trash to his face is just dumb.  What kind of fan does that?  It's not as if Bell isn't putting forth effort or isn't trying to get better.  It's really sad, the entitlement fans think they have.
