Are you impressed by our defense?

Our defense is supposed to be our strength this season. Are you impressed? Maybe it's cos I watch with homer glasses and I'm more critical but I was expecting better from them. They've not been able to stop anyone when it counts.

They have been monsters, especially at the critical points during the game.

They have played well enough to win in three of the four games. Even a case can be made for the buffalo game.

I think they are a solid number one corner from being a top five defense for the next 5 years.

They are light years ahead of this offense.

yes. in spite of offensive ineptitude they've managed to hold teams to under 15 points a game. that is damn near elite.

Our offense isn't helping them. They are doing really well. A decent offense would have beat the Cards no prob with the way our D played. Cam to blame too. Our O had plenty chances. Our D made sure of it. Saved some TDs from happening too.

Our defense has put us in a position to win every game we have played. The secondary has impressed me, yes. Capitalizing on mistakes and creating turn overs has been a bright spot.

The front seven I would say hasn't really impressed me, because I expect them to play great.

The defense has been great for the most part. Secondary leaves a little to be desired, although I like some of the pieces. (To toot my own horn, I said Lester would make a difference before his 1st game).  Late game "collapses"  have stemmed more from the offense not sustaining drives and coaching IMO.

I'd say Seattle is pretty darn good. And they had all offseason to prepare for us.
