Seriously, it's like fans in here are asking for another Foster situation. Have you not learned what happens to a run dominant offense when the feature back isn't talented like a Stewart... or a Charles or a Spiller or a Lynch? Oh, it'll get real the moment our back rushes for 21 yards on a 2.7 average.

It's not a matter to talent. It's a matter of paying your RBs a combined like 17$mil in cap space. It doesn't work in the NFL anymore. Sure, I would rather have someone as talented as Stewart. But not at that price.

If every running back was as good as Tolbert and Williams then this might be a valid point but they aren't.  How many games has Barner played this year?  How many games has Armond Smith, or any other back we have drafted in the last 3 years?  If they are a dime a dozen then why don't we have their replacement on the roster already?  And if they are why are they getting no touches.

that was somewhat fair at the time for how our team was constructed, the extensions are what didnt make sense.  that was foxball and only an average qb
