  1. Past hour
  2. The #Panthers are hoping to have three joint practices with opposing teams during training camp, a league source tells @theobserver. This is in addition to having an extra preseason game (HOF game). The Panthers have nine regular-season home games, so two of joint practices would likely be on the road in correspondence with the preseason schedule. https://x.com/mike_e_kaye/status/2038714138646708345?s=46
  3. If the players are just making their own decisions without direction or any semblance of a plan then what is our head coach doing?
  4. Guys coming on the court should have been T'd too but Duke in no way deserved to be bailed out of that choke job
  5. Also, I'm not sure that what Puka Nakua says should always be considered as the most nuanced and well-thought position one can take.
  6. Saw an ESPN mock that had us picking a Guard at 19, that would shock me
  7. I suspect he'll get an opportunity at tackle and end up getting pushed inside to guard. That much weight it's just hard on your knees constantly having to go side to side and plant and leverage. Kind of reminds me of Mekhi Bechton. Huge guy, 360 lbs, knee injuries, and I'm sure his weight played a part in them. Just a risk I wouldn't want to take at 19.
  8. Panthers trade up in the 2nd round to draft.... Quarterback
  9. Today
  10. I think I have it figured out.... The Panthers are going to wait to see if Caleb Downs falls close enough to them to move up. Safeties tend to fall for QBs, Edges, OTs, WRs....If he is not there, they could take Thieneman, or they could take a top CB and move Smith-Wade to FS. Jackson will be 30 and an UFA in 2027, so it makes sense. In round 2, LB In round 3, DT On day 3: C, T, etc If you look at it, this process nearly guarantees a starter in the defensive backfield, a starting LB, a rotational DT, and developmental depth at C and T.
  11. Bryce doesn’t handle pressure well enough to not have the O-line in point. OT may be BPA, as a result.
  12. Duke should've won a championship last year with Kon and Flagg. Lol Also don't care about the 5 20 win season bit, Roy took over the program in a much worse spot than Davis did and let's not even talk about the program that Smith took over. Lol
  13. Same. I think NFL speed rushers are gonna eat his lunch. And yeah, pretty much everyone that starts on the OL at Bama is at minimum gonna get a chance to play in the NFL. The overall unit is going to be one of the best on the country at the college level every year.
  14. ^This. If we take a S at #19 I think it would shock most people although some mocks have us doing just that. Extremely few, but they are out there.
  15. Carolina goes FS at 19. I would love this move and think adding a Cooper DeJean (Thienneman) or Emanwori (EMW) gives us an invaluable piece that seals the secondary up.
  16. I have Slaughter in my mock in the 3rd. I also like Sam Hecht from Kansas State in rd 3.
  17. Holy crap. I say this as a Carolina fan thrilled that Duke lost…how tf did Hurley not get T’d up for this?
  18. Carolina picks 2 players in round 1. One in the mid 20s and one in the 30s.
  19. Carolina trades up to #1 and selects Mendoza
  20. ... Carolina trades back into the 1st round to draft LB Jacob Rodriguez.
  21. Which Duke fans are you talking about? Duke has choked away legit title chances the last two years. I don't know anyone acting like they're some machine but yes they've certainly been better than UNC the last few years
