Shower Thomas Davis with your adoration here....

TD was the guy that put Vick at the end of the visitors bench all alone and for that he's awesome.

Everything else is the above and beyond, and theres a LOT of that. If there is one player that should get to stand next to Sam outside, it's Thomas. He has the work ethic and determination, he has the team loyalty...and is a playmaker.

TD is what it means to be a Panther the right way.  He's everything you want in a football player and as a man and represents us and the city extremely well.

Things I love about TD in no particular order.

1.  He lays the wood.  He's not dirty at all but he has some the fastest acceleration into his hits I've ever seen from a football player.  It's like he hits the Nitro a second before the hit for extreme impact.

2.  I love that he's a little old school.  On the called back interception yesterday it was the correct call but it wasn't some close call or anything.  TD leveled the guy, then caught the pass.  If you're going to foul, foul hard and make it count.  That can mentally kill the other guy.

3.  He talks trash.  He taught Luke that it's not just enough to enforce your will on your opponent, you have to make sure he knows it.  TD understands that mental edge of the game.

4.  His passion.  You can just tell he loves playing this game.

5.  Never quits.  Three times he blew out his knee.  Three times he comes back.  I don't think we all know how truly amazing that is from a physical and mental standpoint.

6.  If you mess up, he will get in your face.  He's the kind of guy that sets the bar and makes everyone around him want to reach it.

Yes, yes, yes and yes.

Echoing everyone else.

My favorite Panther just because of what he's overcome and because of the kind of man he is. And he's the epitome of leadership--not afraid to call his teammates out but also leads by pure example.

And a damn fine football player.

Much respect to #58.

I'll never forget his quote from his draft press conference: "I get to the ball with bad intentions."  Jimmy Graham will tell you that 10 years later, this is still his philosophy.

He holds his teammates accountable, but never before holding himself accountable.  Too many "me first" guys in today's NFL - he's not about the flash or the accolades, but about playing sound football because he loves the game, and he should be the model that any budding football player should aspire to be.

I HEART Thomas Davis, and I'm not the least bit ashamed to admit it.

There were plenty here that called him done.... More than once... And probably for good reasons, but that doesn't matter. I'm so proud of his example and effort, and I'm thankful ownership left the door open for him. It would have been easy for them to quit on him.
