Remember When We Played Seattle In The NFCCG In 2005

I understand that most people don't understand us, or don't want to. I don't think Panda Was gloating about the service, he was stating a fact. He could have went into detail about his clandestine operations, but he did not. He was just saying he missed it because he was protecting the freedoms of america. Btw, not all military people " play with guns" I would say %25 of the 1% of Americans gun. The rest is support, logistics, medical, air ops, legal, etc etc.

We would have won that game with a healthy team. Foster had been killing it during those playoffs before he got hurt. People forget that.

he was ripping up the bears.  don't know what foster's deal was but he turned it on in the playoffs and against the falcons.  peppers was nicked up too and our defense just seemed tired and slow in that game.

despite how it ended, i think 2005 was probably my favorite panthers season.  the uneven start where beating the patriots was sandwiched by losses to the saints and dolphins, the long winning streak, the improbable run to the NFC title game, and of course the steve smith show week in and week out.

One of Seattle's LBs hit Goings so hard I thought he might be dead. I was a head on head collision an Goings got the worst of it. Knocked him out of the game. Smith had 3 defenders on him yet Jake kept staring at him like ape stares at it's own reflection waiting for something to happen.

I remember that game like it was yesterday. That whole year was fun until that game. I was at Buffalo Wild Wings in high point NC. Revenge is a must. I vaguely remember Steve smith going nuts on the sideline trying to get everyone hyped only to end up crying in the end :(. Let's whoop some ass come Saturday

    • KP is not a straight up carbon copy but they look awful close to me.  T
    • You are right. At the same time I don’t think people are watching games going come on Bryce put it on the ground or sail it OB or whatever. They just have trouble seeing him turning his 3 or four or five top games of 2025 into the weekly standard outing. Which you expect for the kind of money he will ask for (speaking for myself anyway).
    • In terms of comparing Pickett and Young's arm talent it's basically a push at best. Pickett is sitting at 6.2 yards per pass attempt for his career while Bryce sits at 6.0 Last season Bryce was 6.3 in yards per pass attempt. Only Justin Fields Spencer Rattler (both 6.2) Kyler Murray (6.0) 41 year old Joe Flacco (6.0) 44 year old Phillip Rivers (5.9) rookie Cam Ward (5.9) and Tyrod Taylor (5.8) had less pass yards per attempt than Bryce Young in his third season as a starter. Folks going around acting as if it is beyond the pale to say Pickett might have a better arm than Young are living in an alternate reality. You can choose to not believe your own eyes after 46 games but everyone else will acknowledge reality and move forward accordingly.
