Colin Kaepernick Has Twitter Rage

Good job Kap. I love the way he obliterated the guy. Just because you buy tickets to games does not mean you can come on twitter and talk poo to me. Some fans need to know their limits. I wish he would have done more.

if by obliterated you mean, 'made himself look like a whiney little bitch' then yes, I agree with you.

i generally think people who talk poo to athletes on twitter are wastes of flesh, but i also respect the hell out of a master troll, and that was an absolute magnum opus of timing, wording, length, and flippancy. i imagine beads of sweat popping out on kaep's forehead as he furiously texted his buddies and asked them how he should reply.

i pray that one day the chance will befall me to make someone i hate so visibly and publicly small with such backhanded ease.

So is the new mod you hired allowed to break the rules too? Or is everyone allowed to post non Panther related news in this thread now?

It's been a generally accepted rule for years here that in the offseason the Panthers forum is fair game for non-Panthers-but-still-NFL-related news. So much so that Igo even typically makes an announcement in August that the 'Panthers talk only' rules are back in effect.

    • Yeah, honestly being a long-term backup is at least as much about being a good lockerroom presence and accepting your role as a supporting piece and not being a greasy wheel as much as it does about ability. Backup QB requires a completely different mindset than the starter and some guys just can't make that switch. It doesn't make them bad guys or locker room cancers or anything like that, it just makes them not what you're looking for in a long-term backup. You bring in that type of guy to compete. You don't bring in that type of guy if you're not looking for competition.
    • Im saying its Tar Heel fans who would do that. I root for all Panthers to succeed regardless but college affiliation means zero to me
    • We have some good pieces.  Enough to be competitive week to week.  Coaching seems to be improving but they’ve made it much harder on themselves than needed.  There are very good reasons to be optimistic about the future. However, I don’t trust them yet.  Wins are odd looking and mostly ugly.  Our opponents have to have a bad day for us to hang with them.  A lot of that is because we still haven’t figured out the most important position and will continue until it’s solved. I think Morgan has done a nice job in both the draft and FA so far.  He’s getting better each day he’s in that position. As far as the players listed, I’m pretty much in agreement.  XL and Bryce are not performing the way they should at this point.  I will say XL could see more success in a vertical passing attack to better utilize his speed. And as always, Fug Tepper.
